Buffalo didn't have the same option as Elk to travel up into the high mountains to get away from settlers. Elk were more of a plains animal before they got driven up into the higher elevations, but Buffalo didn't have the same adaptive ness that helped the Elk survive. Deer also were able to adapt when their habitats changed & went away so if you want to talk about destroying something lets talk about the millions of wild Steelhead trout runs that are extinct because of dams and polluted waters.
Imagine someone taking our planet away from us because that is similar to taking wildlifes habitat away from them. I grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, & have read the pioneers accounts when they first entered the valley & they said there were herds of Buffalo, Deer & Elk all over the Valley. Because of Urban growth & pollution there are no Buffalo in the valley & they will never return.
You tell me Mr. Americanhero how much money do you give back each year to our wildlife to pay biologists, wildlife managers, etc because taxes arent enough? Fireballer's right that the single biggest destroyer of wildlife is taking away their habitat, & those people that think hunters are the problem dont understand & shouldnt take shots at something they dont have a clue about.
Most the Deer & Elk herds were killed out when people settled these areas over a 100 years ago, & if it wasn't for the hunter's love for the outdoors & preserving it for the next generation there wouldn't be any money to invest back to our wildlife.
American hero you are right about the human population spreading into areas that it shouldn't. Why don't you leave the hunters alone now and tell people to move out of wintering areas.
Are you kidding me... do some research on death in the wild. It is slow and painful. Nature isn't just a bunch of bunnies and butterfies living in perfect harmony. As a human race we are in charge of taking care of the land and the animals within.... dumbass
As the human race becomes more advanced we take away areas of nature with urban expansion.
Also you need to consider the hunts with guns, healthy deers like these get shot and their heads are put on walls as trophies - this isn't a conspiracy theory so i don't know where you've been hiding all your life.
Humans don't take care of nature, okay "druids" do but how many of them are left if any??
Mostly what what we have in America are evil loggers and hunters who seek profit and fame.
Thanks!

If it wasn't for hunters you wouldn't have the opportunity to see videos like this because there wouldn't be deer like this anymore.

The strongest typical American in the world are those who resist the urge to destroy what is beautiful out of jealousy.
Hunters of these great creatures will wake up one day and realise they have taken away from this world.
