  • what the hell

i flagged this video for dog/child abuse

  • Tee-hee cuh-yute! :)

  • I agree with CheeeeezyPuffer That was AWESOME!

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • Nice.

    Good.

    Surreal.

YEah, anyway, good animation, and fantastic animation at the same time.

    How is that done?

I have no idea. But it's a good animation.

  • Thank you!

  • lol nice XP

nice deodorant in the background btw XD

  • Thanks, I think deodorant is an important thing to have in background.

  • it adds to the epic effect ;)

  • jw, but where'd it go when the claymation dude got like blown up into the straaaaaaaange world of like inverted colors?

  • Well, it was suppose to be like a different demension or something so, it was gone :P

  • haha awesome! you guys are really good at claymation, mostly you since you did like everything on it xD :)

    ktu ;D

  • Thanks, I did do all of the animation and voices but my friend Alex was the one who designed the characters, he's quite good at it.

  • kth! which i just made up for kudos to him :B

  • realy good making of the film!

  • thanks!

  • ANUS

  • ZOMG!

  • i love theres a speed stick in the background

  • Now the last thing i need is to know what type of clay did you use. and did you use wire or anything to makke them, or to make them stand up?

  • The clay I used was just typical molding clay you can find in any art room. To be honest, I don't recommend it. It's pretty low grade. I recommend Claytoon clay, I've used it before and it's much better.

I use wire skeletons for some of my characters, I recommend it though, I also recommend keeping your clay men in the fridge when not in use.

  • have you heard of Plasticine clay, i heard its good. but im not sure since its expensive.

but i think i heard that guy knox uses it, and hes good at this.

  • Can you tell me what type of camera and editing software you use for these?

    thanx.

  • Camera- JVC Mini DV Cam

    Software:

    -Stop Motion- Monkey Jam (Freeware)

    -Sony Vegas Movie Studio (Editing)

  • now is this the camera you use for your non-videos?

    and thanx for replying.

  • Hey no problem :D

And actually no, it's a DV cam which takes and records on DV tapes (which is how I do my live action work). But, I simply plug it into my computer via Fire Wire (USB could work too) and then capture pictures directly to my computer.

  • im confused i think i asked the question wrong, do you use this camera for your live action videos or only for animating.

  • I use them for both :D

  • thanx.

  • No problem :)

  • could you tell me how much the camera was that you bought? or how long you bought it? or any cameras you would recomend?

you have been a lot of help.

  • Well, right now the camera I have costs about 200 dollars. It's a pretty good camera, it you have proper lighting, it gets a pretty nice picture. But, there are better cameras. If you're just starting and don't want to spend too much, I recommend a camera similar to mine.

  • K

you are probably the most help on here.

i dont have the money right now but expect to see some claymations from me in a few months.

    -thanx

  • This is a good movie! There are you happy jordan

  • haha so random

  • This is a good movie! There are you happy jordan

  • That was great. I did a Gumby animation back in the day with 8mm.... imagine how bad it was considering I didn't use a tripod! Ha ha!

  • Yeah, I used to do the same thing as a kid. I remember how cool I thought it was, haha.

  • Ah, so this is what acid feels like.

  • As close as I could get anyway :P

  • hahaha, i loved the explosion.. was so unexpected

  • Thanks!

  • cool! =)

  • showed him not to mess with the pink blob

  • O_o whoa that was some of the most smoothest aimation I have seen here. What was the frame rate? anyways...

Very nicely animated, planned and yes the effects worked very nicely. And that weird barky dog thing was very cool.. but weird at the same time. Very well done. :D

    -faceofdoomness

  • Thanks a lot man! And it was 24 fps I think :D

  • that was 24 frames per second? O_o that seemed more like a 30 frames per second since there was a lot of fast movements... anyways. great job. :D

    -faceofdoomness

  • Well, 24 and 30 are pretty much the same thing...actually, after I render it, it is 30 fps.

  • I knew it! I knew the frames were moving somewhat faster than 24 frames per second! anyways. yeah it must have been quite a pain to film everything frame by frame for 30 frames per second. I've only done 24 frames per second but whatever...

    -faceofdoomness

  • Ive Done 48fps animate at 24 then double the speed

  • haha awesome. I'm glad my non-subliminal video got through ok :P (Although it would have been better if you used that one... ;D)

Very good job man :D Keep it up!

  • Thanks dude! Yeah, your subliminal one amused me :P

  • Wow Chris, your animation is getting 10 times better every video! Usually effects are just randomly thrown into videos and it looks...silly. You, Chris, did a good job with effects. Great Work again!

  • Thanks a lot! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

  • in the words of borat "Very Nice!"

  • Yay!

  • Thanks, yeah Particle Illusion has some cool effects.

  • Pretty funny! And the high fps makes it even better. :)

  • Thank you!

  • WOAH

    The ending changed my life.

  • Lulz.

Abrupt endings by means of fainting=Awesome!

  • haha that was pretty good...

    nice job

    (i also enjoyed the music)

  • Thanks man!

  • kool use of light =D

  • Thanks!

  • Very neat animation and effects!

  • Thanks a lot!
