Nothings better than a badass boat with the back covered in fishing poles and a bikini running around trying to bring in all the catch. Your an evil genius and you made it look easy.
Got to love Jordan lake. Went night fishing for crappie this past march and ended up with a cooler full of 13 inch fish. How was the striper fishing this year?
@luvs2puff the fishing has been somewhat off and on.. it seems the lake really hasnt heated up like it used to and the fish are able to stay deeper right now and it seems that the pressure systems have been having a huge effect on them this year. however we are still doing ok with them
we pull just bucktails and spoons. i will pull live bait sometimes but that time of the year i will be trolling artificial baits only. and to answer your second question yes we do eat them. they are real good
Were y'all just trolling bucktails and spoons or running any live bait? Those are the biggest stripers I have ever seen pulled out of Jordan Lake. Do you eat them? Pretty work!

How deep is the hook set for striper fishing?
Unplugged704 6 months ago
@Unplugged704 it really depends on where the fish are.. normally around 12 to 18 ft deep. this lake is very shallow.
