@Foblikedruid You really know nothing about graphics and rendering do you? the reason this looks so good is because its pre-rendered thus the polygon count is obscenely high because you do not have to render it in real time. If you look at any pre rendered stuff made in the last 5 yeas you would see that today's stuff is much better. What is interesting though is that today we are using MUCH higher resolution textures in video games today.

Its cinematics are badass (What else is to say about it?).

The ideas are/were -almost- original (after pretty much going Activision-Blizzard, they started to kinda suck; by that i mean alot of stuff were copyed or inspired from the net; That, and also alot of MMO's came out during that time).

The gameplay is fun up untill you've experienced everything (Which makes it dull to keep p[l]aying).

Health was around 10-13k in BC.

DPS was roughly 900-1.5k.

Now health has about doubled, usually in the 20k hps.

Dps has nearly quadroopled ( cant spell it -.-) if not tripled.

Thats why resil is in place. And you better than god my feral druid that pulls 5k dps is not using his 18k ferocious bites on you or you would definatly be crying.

For the time it was great.

You've got to remember that WoW's been around for a good amount of time in MMO-years. Five years of Warcraft, and in five years the graphics department has skyrocketed, cinematics-wise. WoW still has the same graphics it's had forever though, and for that I'm a bit peeved. They haven't upgraded for fear of angering their audience that is so used to the cartoony, plush characters they've grown to love.
