L Forest is now gone since the Big Ban changed it all. To enter to sleepy wood you must be lv50 :( and mush kingdom is throught spore hill (aka right of henesys)

@YayAsiansFTW If that would be possible, sigh, to be honest I liked the game more when I was still a newbie, exploring and discovering the game, than now, over lv 75, all those modern added things. Yeah, I would kill to get to play the old magical Maple again ;)

When I first started playing, the old L Forest song was my total favorite, the time I was still amazed by the wooden benches and flower gates in the background, back when it was just Victoria and Ossyria, back when beating Crimson Rogs was a real achievement, back when I didn't know what to expect in Sleepywood Dungeon, back when I could really enjoy the happy old Maplestory, without all the modern technology nonsense like New Leaf City

L Forest - Went in there once, arrived back at Kerning. Kept dying there - but it was the only way to get to Lith Habour quickly and it saved money.

Ahh...that long journey to Kerning City through the L Forest to become a thief after I got off that Southperry ship. Ah...the good days when Maplestory was simple. I recently looked at the site, and they were speaking a freakin' different language. "Aran" and "Cygnus Knights" or something. Too complicated. +_+ But I still wanna play >:D

Cygnus knights which are just fail and get a level cap at 120

Arans are like spearmen with new skills and a combo system and can get to 200

Evans are mages that use dragons to attack.Dual blades are souped up Bandits with overpowered attacks.Wild hunters are souped up bowmen that ride on mounts and fire thousands of arrows Battle mages are mages that get physical and magic attacks. Mechanics ride on a giant robot

Miss MS so much. I bet all vet players like me here have to admit that MS has CHANGED SO much! It isn't the old classic MS with the magical forest and mushrooms. Now it's more revolutionized with modern technology such as NLC? Like wth? The old stuff is the best. Also, my rogue has been in happyville for 4 years straight :) If I logon, I'll be tele'd out because of that stupid new class cutscene.

now theres all kinds of things taking away your freedom away. I remember when maplestory was the simple four jobs. your were a young adventurer looking for fame and power. I think maplestory might have to much of a storyline now O.O with this dark mage crud, and too many jobs

Yeah, your right! I don't care what people say about MapleStory's Storyline! What makes a good MMO is the fun from the gameplay, Super Mario Bros. became famous because of its fun gameplay not because of its storyline. Now MapleStory changed alot, maps, classes, etc. Explorers are starting to die out with all the Cygnus Knights and Arans!

Now I just seem to ignore that all because of the useless crap that has been added since Ossyria. Memories of when I was still exploring Maple, exited when I found something unusual and listened to those happy and cheery tunes.
