A few questions, if it is ipod ready...well how do i hook up my ipod because we know it doesnt work through the usb. Which brings me to my second question, where is the aux input? Ive had this for a couple months now and i really miss listening to my ipod in the car.

When I insert USB or a DVD it displays the menu for a second, then plays a video, but how to I get back to the root menu? I can skip forward and back. The manual says I can touch the upper right-hand corner but that only displays a number pad, no menu. Any ideas?

@udz2002 I believe if you touch the screen anywhere it will pop up stop. forward. reverse...etc Hit stop and it will take you to your root folder

@bigjfoot Hey, I havent converted any videos in a while because our car has been out of commission. I used the program pazera. It has a few options for converting to different formats. I remember i just tried converting a couple videos til I found the format it liked. Its really simple and works great.

I used to had a XO vision that i bought from walmart like 3 years ago for $99.00 it was the base model but it still play DVD, Cd,AUX, SD card, usb, and the look was gorgeous, the dvd picture quality was nice, the sd compartment it was nice hidden, the music quality amazing, but it got stolen, i been trying to find the same model but i was walmart discontinued.. they have another XO vision models but I specified like the one i used to had, I have a Sony now and its nice..too but i miss my XO

Just installed in my 05 chevy silverado. Had a time making mounting brackets to use instead of mounting sleeve( did it like option 2) face plate/ screen very loose and wobbles, especially on right side, not sure if I caused this. Don't know how to use the USB, iPhone doesn't seem to work with it. Bluetooth works awesome both for iPhone music and calls. Anyone else have the loose screen or USB problem?

@HateCopyright20 Great! the video must be in the correct format for it to play. I noticed its a little picky with what video types it will play. I downloaded a free program that converts video and I use it for all videos I have now What isnt working with the usb? The easiest and fastest way to go to usb mode is turn on the radio, then plug in the usb card. The radio will automatically go to usb mode. You can use the source button as well to circulate through the modes til you get to usb as well.

@HateCopyright20 I usually convert to divx the program I use is pazera. Its free, easy and fast. Your ipod will not work through usb.

@lauramidd0809 Install went fine. Got it all in there and fired it up. The unit is alright. I'm pretty happy with it. I would be more apt to say "you get what you pay for" than "check out my bad ass stereo".. but it does what it says. few little glitches here and there though. if it is muted and you fold the screen then it comes unmuted.. little things like that. still, good unit for the price

@HalfBurntOut The unit has a built in microphone. Your phone never has to leave your pocket to make or receive calls. I have been on both ends of the call from this unit. Road noise from your car will determine how well the person you are calling can hear you....you will have no problem hearing them at all.

@Kingc27 I just drag and drop mp3 files into an artist folder/album folder on the usb drive...then I go through the sources on the radio til it brings up the usb source. It will automatically start playing a file on its own. You then just go back to the root folder and select the file or folder you want and then select the song or video.

Just a little follow up. Ive been messing with photos and slide shows through the usb. It is pretty nice that you can load the usb card up with hundreds of photos and it will display a slide show while you are listening to music at the same time...thought it was pretty cool.

@TheBLACKKING25 I installed the unit myself. It can be quite easy to do but that really depends on the vehicle you have. Im not too sure what you will pay now days to have a unit professionally installed. If you do a little research you will likely find that you can do it yourself, learn something new and save some money all at the same time... let me know how it works out for you.

They sent me a new unit because my remote didn't work but for both radios, I can't for the life of me, figure out how to display the time. Does it have a clock option that can always be visible? Your guess is as good as mine on the clock issue. I have not looked into it too much, and have read that other people complain about the same issue. As far as the flicker... I would check your ground. The unit has 2 separate grounds. one goes to the factory harness and the other should be grounded somewhere to the chassis. Im guessing you put both grounds to the same factory harness wire? Lemme know.

Best Buy can do it, however I would suggest looking for a local mom and pop type shop to install it for you if you cant do it yourself....best buy is a joke. they charge way to much and i have seen way to many horrible installs by them. Google it, and I bet you'll find that you can do it yourself
