Memento is one of those movies you can watch once, twice, forwards, backwards, chronologically, mixed up, make a mind map of, watch again, and still never be quite sure what's going on, yet knowing it's AWESOME.
this is a good movie, but i didn't get it! i know the colour sequences start from the end of the film, and the black and white sequences are in order. now did lenard kill his wife, or did the woman get him to kill the wrong, person?
i love this movie because it isnt completely clear on what actually happened. suggestive = yes. but then we're in the same boat as leonard, using what we know as clues to figure out what's actually happening. favorite movie, by far.
Anyone please clarify for me?.....at the end you find out that the central character doesn't have a memory loss problem, that he remembers everything and just acts that way as a way of dealing with the trauma of his wife's death?
no, he actually has a memory loss problem. remember the ending of the movie, is actually only the middle of the story so hes obviously forgotten everything
He does have the memory loss problem, but i think he found out (before the movie) that he killed his own (diabetic) wife with insuline shots and couldnt deal with it so he destroyed some pages of the police report and started hunting a imaginary killer to give his life more purpose, because of the memory thing he wouldnt remember that he had set himself up
yes, I agree 100% about Joe Pantaliano, but the same goes for the entire cast. This was easily the Best Film of that year, no question............but why wasn't it given an Oscar nomination??
can anybody confirm me?? i think this is the same actor who played the role of the professor who builds a time machine and goes to future in the movie "the time machine"..is it???
If he doesn't have short term memory....how does he know he has that condition??
btw one of the best movies ever!

It must have been really hard to market this type of movie. I don't blame the poor quality of the trailer.

Thank you for uploading the trailer. :) I think I might watch this!!
