There are deffo the best videos I've found... but for absolute beginners you should explain stuff just a little more such as hotkeys and which enemy buildings are which and what they look like and what they mean? Just a suggestion keep up the good work :)

I think Apollo severely underestimates the skill level of bronze/silver. Several times he's freaking out because he thinks his opponent is going to come with a giant timing push, when in fact they are happily sitting in their base doing nothing.

At first you can hotkey them to whatever you want, but once they turn into warpgates you can access them by pressing "w." That's why you don't see them hotkeyed. I hope that helps. :)

(cont.) My point is that after scouting the early roach warren, I would have opted for a later expansion and gotten more units out, including an immortal or 2 to defend the push. This is obviously not the better way to play long term, just easier and within my realm of ability as a player. (When I he was facing all those roaches with only sentries and 2 zealots, I thought he was going to lose, b/c I would've). What's the best way to take on macro styles of play without losing to timing pushes?

@mittortz I know right, the thing with this tutorials is that he does teaches and help us how to be better at the game, but I'm 20 minutes into this video and if I found these kind of players when I'm laddering it would be a walk in the park. We can't maintain both macro and micro balanced during the early game, imo, because if we're going for a 3gates FE and he just 4 gates you our effort is in vain, hence scouting all the time. but sometimes you just find it the hard way... :/

awesome video, but I do take issue with one thing. what many higher level players don't realize is that this macro style of play isn't hard to execute on the "macro" side of things, it's much more the micro required to defend the vulnerabilities that macro style opens up.  For instance, that last game against the top gold player - I can safely say that, as much as I would have liked to expand on 1 gate, I would not have been able to defend that early roach push with as many units as he had

I think a big problem for us lower league players is that at least for me personally... the inability to keep calm and just focus on macro. I panic and then everything goes wrong. If a losing streak appears everything goes wrong and its a circular pattern made of evil :P

Anybody know how to... well keep calm and carry on? :)

@matkin21 Everything happens to me. I've won 11 games in a row, I've lost 6, 7, 8 games in a row, everything. I'm also a bit stressed when I go play because I have that feeling of "If I win, I'll get higher and closer to silver... But if I loose I'll go down the ladder" - So I listen to some atmospheric music (Blue Sky Black Death <3) and some OST and Techno. First thing you need is what to do against every race (like some primary strat and follwo it -never- think about the end of the game!

I just started playing this game and I got way more apm then 20-40, my problem is I don't really know what to do with those actions so a tutorial like this is perfect.

I kinda like these tutorials, but they are too fast for bronze/silver players like me. You work with 100+ apm, I work with 20-40. That's a big difference and I don't think you can pull these builds of with that kind of apm.

Also, I'd really like to see a build that can handle 4 gate, since that is the n1 build in low lvl pvp from what I've seen.
