the protesters is are rubbish! they don't even know where is Sarawak. We Malaysian is more care to our brothers than you! You rubbish just only want publicity and rubbish bin!
Sarawak is a very rich state. It has been in the Federation since 1963, yet it was very sleepy and under-developed (until the 80's). I have always wonder why that was? Why?
@foxbait888 Im from Sarawak, and proud of it too. I agree that it is under-developed to a certain extent. Sarawak is the biggest state in Malaysia, and obviously we have a lot of resources at our disposal. There is a huge potential in this state, and sadly because of the political position that we are at, we are unable to utilize our resources fully. The money that we generate for all we know, should be one of the most in Malaysia because of our resources, and records certainly show that.
[continuation] But our state's money has been spent on behalf of Taib, the silent tyrant. He keeps the sources of his income a secret, and nobody dares to challenge him. The corruption that has been happening for all these decades is blindingly obvious. His family owns huge amounts of shares in the big companies in Sarawak. Including his dead wife, who owns the second most shares in Titanuim, a huge company dealing in construction. TAIB is a dick.
thumbs up for those who protest, how about study in malaysia heard the rumors that nxt yr will change to BM the maths and science ask those minister where is you're children study, oversea, how about some of malaysian parent who can't affort to send their children oversea, Education is the property dat we can give to our children, when sarawak join malaysia, they have so called terms and condition w/c is one of those are Education controlled by Sarawak and wer those terms and conditions
to the creator of this fucking stupid video. what about the protestors? at least they are contentious enough to know when there is injustice! you my friend is a paid blind bat of taib mahmud. remember internet perpetrates the truth and trying to spread lies.. and not the best of lies by the least bright of all people.. will not work. THERE IS NO SMOKE WITHOUT THE FIRE.
u me n every msian is in fact multi millionaires but we have been robbed everyday by king of robbers . we have to become slaves all this life because of this ruler of 50 yrs .. what have we GOT in this 50 years .. PPl still presume Sarakians still live on trees ... but how come our ruler can own big mansions , buildings , hotels , lands and many many many listed companies ...
Those in the video who demonstrated have never even been to Malaysia. Likewise 99.99 percent of people in Malaysia have never been to the Penan's settlement to see what development are taking place. How could they talked about human right of the Penan or what the government have not done for these people. They believe in what is written in the western press or what they see on TV. I agree that there are a lot more to be done. Locals from Semenanjung, come visit Sarawak to see whats going there.
@kolonelZ active with clean water project in the rural area? Why? Water polluted by the Timber Company activities!!. Hearsay and you think you know all!. Punan settlement? Why Punan should be settled i ask U KolonelZ. Don't bullshit that u really understand the feeling of the people affected on the ground. The blockage in the Ulu Limbang area by the Penan, U really know the cause? or just read in the local news. Know about the pollution in the Trusan River by the Samling and Lee Ling Timber?
@michaelandlucifer I commented on the 'attitude' of foreign people who demonstrated in the video. I have in my army careers spent a lot of time 'immobilising' bulldozers belonging to illegal timber operators and arresting many of them. You should be reporting it to appropriate authorities....reporting to TV 3 would be one of the effective action to spark off action by kick off those forestry officials sitting on their arse. Note: In America because they have reaped off their timber years ago.
@lachrymose29I typed the words "head hunting" in apostrophe. Illegal logging is there but the government is doing the best that they can to stop it. I know better than most people about Sarawak rural development because I am participating activley in providing clean water to the rural areas in Sarawak. My main message for the video posted was that people willingly participate in demos without knowing a clue what they are demonstrating against.
@lachrymose29 I typed the words "head hunting" in apostrophe connoting that there are no more headhuters. Illegal logging is there but the government is doing the best that they can to stop it. Bodoh Mat Sallehs! missed out on the 60's so now we are retired lets smoke some dope go to a protest then get some high fibre low cal gulten free munchies to eat on the bus on the way home. Part two of stupid plan lets take the grand kids in case we need to score any more weed - the little b***s seem to be able to get it anywhere!
Sooner or later they will stage a demo to stop "head-hunting" in Sarawak!! one of them is already wearing a T shirt with the caption. The world is always in turmoil because of people who 'think' that they have the facts right just through reading papers and magazines. If you ask these people where Sarawak is located, I wont be surprise that some of them would give an answer that Sarawak is 'somehere next to Afghanistan'
they look like they're from the same family... LOL. Such a big story for like 20 people... grandpa, grandma and the kids. mom and dad must have been at work. hahaha
