  • ... this guy would find meaningful patterns in his alphabet soup.

  • /watch?v=-3m7llYGWTI&feature=related This is from the movie zeitgeist. See the refuted information to it Zeitgeist Refuted Final Cut

  • /watch?v=-3m7llYGWTI&feature=related

  • I get a conspiracy theory vibe from this video. It appears that a conclusion was made and then "proof" was found to back it up. Which is too bad cause I think there are some nuggets of truth in here that at least fall in the "make you think" category. Probably worth the watch, but I doubt it's a reliable source of information.

  • The "Sun" does not move at all...jackass!

  • @rynborn but to the people on earth it seems to move dumbfuck

  • This is a lie.

  • @Feelzlul then what is true?

  • This is a segment from Zeitgeist, surprised this isn't mentioned for people looking for the full movie.

  • While I also think that religion falls apart with the smallest amount of research, so does this video.

  • Also the sun rays part is a little retarded. You can't go combining a bunch of different parts of the Bible into one message to match your own meaning.

If that's intellectual reasoning, then by intellectual reasoning I could probably match phrases from the evening news together to prove that lady gaga is actually kanye west.

  • No evidence that Horus was born of a virgin*

  • Whoa this is stupid.

The word play of Son and Sun only exists in Engish, and contrary to what this guy seems to think, the Bible wasn't written in English.

Israel is pretty much next to the equator. The difference in hours of daylight between the longest and shortest days is probably about an hour. The Sun's movement isn't so large

There's no conclusive evidence that Horus, according to twenty Egyptologists surveyed by Ward Gasque.

Even the slightest bit of research rips this video apart :/

  • This is interesting. Christanity stole most of it's ideas from "paganism" Even it's invention of the devil was modeled after the Horned God of the Hunt (although he was more Mother Nature's bitch, than an evil thing).

In fact evil is a conscept invented by Christanity.

  • im not sure i think il do some reasearch about the facts.

but i think religions are easy to make a couple of lies can convince any1 in ancient times..

  • Lol completely wrong in so many ways...

  • Comment removed

  • i hope people know zietlies was set up to shake faith of people who believe in the true God Jesus Christ.

These dudes "disprove" the bible, but prove it with the mark of the beast (RFID)

    Wow, Hypocrisy.

Jordan maxwell is in the illuminati.

  • good observation, there would be no need for the mark of the beast if Jesus and God did not exist

  • DAMN man, this is some craaazy shit man.

This shit made me think way too much.

    I'm so stoned, NICE.

    shiiiiit

  • I think the procession of equinoxes is very interesting. Especially interesting is the fact that the ancient people seemed to know about it. They must have been talking about the stars for tens of thousands of years!

  • This video is incredible, all of them are.

  • Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.

    - Albert Einstein,

  • LOL: Do millions of Americans believe the end of the world is coming?

  • RobDeManc - Sadly, Rob, this is true. Millions of Americans do believe the end of the world is coming. There is even a series of ridiculous, soap opera-type books written about the 'end times' and what will happen then.

However, only lower-class, uneducated people believe this and now that we have a government that doesn't pimp to these people, things may improve. Be aware that these are only a very small minority given a disproportionate voice in politics.

  • well that is a shame. At least Obama says he will encourage science.

  • I Love horus and all them peoples...=)

  • "so the moral of the story is? christ didnt exist?he was a fictional character?or he existed but wasnt what we now believe he was?is?..whatever..this documentary is really confusing" - Dpapaioannow

Its ok, I don't think the creator intended people with double digit IQs to understand

  • Hm, what off Islam, it doesnt make these referances.

  • islam started branched from a sin

  • CeloxUmbra - Which is why those people are fundamentalist Christians where understanding isn't necessary...only faith.

  • Brilliant documentary!

Everyone must see this movie - young and old, religious or not.

    5 Stars

  • too bad the bible doesnt have any relation to this video.

  • Really?........look up the piso family

  • You've seen Zeitgeist. Now watch The Esoteric Agenda.

  • internet died, it isn't doing so well right now either...i may have to continue this later

  • heck, jesus could have been a real person for all i know, but maybe not. history books aren't always accurate as you may know. facts may be used politically to win favor and control over people, i really don't know, but that is what makes me the way i am....

  • The colored eggs associated with the bunny are of another, even more ancient origin. The eggs associated with this and other Vernal festivals have been symbols of rebirth and fertility for so long the precise roots of the tradition are unknown, and may date to the beginning of human civilization.

  • that is some interesting stuff about easter eggs. too bad that has nothing to do with me. i dont go on egg hunts, i celebrate the resurrection of Christ the Eternal.

  • that was never my claim, i just said "christianity has many pagan traditions" not so funny now though, huh

  • no, its still funny. a little monotonous, but hilarious at the same time. if i were a little kid who like candy, id be offended. but i actually feel as if my faith is strenghthened.

  • ok, do you agree christianity has pagan traditions?

  • christianity began in first century israel. as it spread to the roman empire, people kept their pagan traditions but converted to Christian beliefs. the original christian teachings by themselves had no pagan origins. modern US culture has pagan traditions.

  • OK, so how much of christanity is influenced by paganism? this is the question we are talking about.

  • very little. the date of December 25th, and possibly easter eggs. yet again, that is not within the definition of Christianity. there a huge difference in terms of the number of deities, the nature of them, religious laws, etc.

  • are you ignoring the three kings, the north star that led them to the birth, born of the virgin mary or astrological virgo? or do you have a good reason why you are ignoring these facts?

  • in the gospels the number is not mentioned, and they werent kings. also, it wasnt the north star, since the wiseman came from the East. these arent "facts" because i havent seen them in other religions from an original source.

  • why is it so hard to believe that christianity adopted some traditions from pagan religions? christmas is mostly pagan..the tree, the date, mistletoe, i know there is a lot more too.

  • that is tradition, not theology. Rome became Christian during the reign of Constantine. so Christianity existed several hundred years before. reading the New Testament, you dont see anything about trees, December 25th, etc. so that is not Christianity, but rather cultural traditions added to pre-existing belief systems.

  • you did not listen to one thing i said..."..that is tradition, not theology..." is your answer to "...adopted some traditions from pagan religions" oh and "...pre-existing belief systems" is equal to "pagan religions" you said the same thing i said except you used different language to help you justify it in your mind

  • actually i was referring to Christianity.your problem is that you view Christmas as just some holiday about mistletoe and trees, yet its about Jesus Christ. nevertheless, some of the stuff you mentioned is not pagan at all, but from medieval Europe. and, the media has to change the true meaning of Christmas as to not "offend" anyone.

  • my view of christmas is that is used in america as a corporate and economic powerhouse. i know about this, but this is only within the last 100 years. before that in america and back in the old country (europe) they probably didn't even know why they used christmas trees. but before that it was adopted from pagan religions.

  • i really dont care, since i dont worship christmas trees.

  • that's not the point...it is proof of pagan influence on your religion...which is what we were talking about, wasn't it?

  • my religion isnt about Christmas trees, mistletoe, and easter eggs. It is about Jesus Christ. so unless you can somehow relate him to paganism then you have no point. i dont care about holiday traditions. its so secualar now and all about money, that it goes against my Lord's teachings. you can keep on having your opinion of what Christianity is, but be assured that what you think about my beliefs is not true.

  • well, if you want some parallels...WATCH THIS VIDEO SERIES THAT YOU ARE COMMENTING ON! did you not watch all of these?

  • do you consider your belief to be blind belief?

  • I can relate your messiah to paganism. I have been doing so for many years not only on Youtube but outside in my home town where I encounter ignorant Christians who simply have no desire to learn something new; to realize that the Jesus story was played out in ancient Egypt and Babylon well before the first century. It is all about money; this is perhaps proof that the Christian religion is a corruption of the truth about our religious past.

  • also, tradition is quite trivial. considering that Greek and Roman mytholgy as well as the Bible, have greatly influenced Europe, though many people do not identify with any of those religions. so they have only influenced traditions of people, and not their beliefs.

  • ok, you got me...but answer this question...if we have all the details of jesus' birth and the day was so important that it was documented...why in the world do we not know what day it was on? and why is there zero documentation of the childhood of this god on earth? why did people give up on documenting his life until he was 30 something?

  • for one, the day is not important. the things mentioned first about Jesus are his teaching in the temple at age 12 in Luke 2: 41-51. and later we learn of his baptism. so, we learn about his spiritual growth. people did not give up on his life. He was living as a normal man would in Israel, learning the Law. also, it is evident from the New Testament that Jesus did not want many people to know his true identity.

  • " it is evident from the New Testament that Jesus did not want many people to know his true identity. " ---> also, a technique used by scam artists...thanks for that ;)

  • scam artists? consider that Jesus healed the sick, walked on water, teached openly in the temple, etc. if you want to actually learn stuff you can read the New Testament for yourself, otherwise quit glorifying yourself as being open minded and rational when clearly youre not.

  • how do you know he did these things? because you read it? the books of the bible were not even written until decades AFTER his death...how accurate can you really be about something that happened 50-100 years before...think about it, it is like describing your grandmothers birth in detail and she and everyone who was there is dead.

  • the books of the bible were written by Christ's disciples. so they listened to him, talked with him, and traveled with him. that doesnt make any sense, considering i did not grow up the same time as my grandmother. also the gospels are dated to be before AD 70, which is not 100 years.

  • ok, ok...was it 60 AD? doesn't really matter though, you can not be as detailed as the bible is without writing it down for 30 to 60 years.

  • I suggest a good 40-50 years or more.

  • so, who's the next "one"

  • when you are 60, sit down and write about all your life without using pictures, diaries or any other item that would trigger an unfair memory and see how hard it is to write about your own life. details are made up in the bible is my point.

  • by reading your comments, i doubt you know much at all about the bible. so whether you think it is made up or not doesnt matter to me.

  • hmmm, let's see, i went to baptist bible camps 5 years in a row in middle and high school, as well as attending weekly bible studies through high school...i am now an engineer out of college and am still skeptical of this ridiculous story

  • You mean Matthew was written by Matthew? Luke by Luke, even though they were written anonimously? Even though they were written in Greek? What about Ur Marcus written by the Piso family? What about the Gnostic secret gospel of Mark? The dating of these books suggest they were written around the 2nd and even 3rd century. We have no first century manuscripts. Most Epistles are forgeries and some with their Gnostic content removed by orthodox scribes.

  • so...tell me about your grandmother

  • n second century Europe, the predominate spring festival was a raucous Saxon fertility celebration in honor of the Saxon Goddess Eastre (Ostara), whose sacred animal was a hare.

  • second century, eh? which would be after Christ. well that only verified what i thought. the theology is not pagan, but rather the tradition.

  • painting easter eggs was far prior. the resurrection at this time of year was also celebrated pre-christian/judism for the resurrection of the sun or gods who were interpretted as the sun

  • Jesus was never interpretted as the sun, nor did he claim to be the sun. if you think you can prove this as well then go right ahead.

  • i never said that i agreed with that

  • in fact, i don't think Jesus is LITERALLY the sun...but i do believe in the statement that i made.

  • i am not claiming Jesus did not exist or that he claimed to be the sun...what i am saying is that some stories/myths about this man were adaptations from previous religions...somewhat recently historically similar to joseph smith's claim of mormonism, in which he used tall tales to create a religion...which has many followers and still growing.

  • new fact, books of the pre-catholic bible were debated in the vatican to see which books should be in the bible. does this make sense?

  • denominations that branched off of catholisism removed books from the bible, so that it would align more with their religious beliefs/agenda

  • this is easy to prove, look at the books in a catholic bible, then look at a bible in a non-catholic bible. WHY WAS THE BIBLE EDITED/CENSORED??? i need an answer to this

  • Do you think that the king james bible has all the books in it? Kepp on dreaming, from the start only a protion of the book had been accepted in the bible. There's at least 2 times more ancient books about the ancient testament and the new one that are being kept away from our eyes. There's even the gospel of Judas that claim that Judas was asked by Jesus to sell him to the romans and that Judas was his Closest disciple.

  • haha, i know, you would think if it were the word of god that it wouldn't have to be edited/censored.

  • if something is censored that doesnt mean it is inappropriate. people are afraid of what might happen if people read it. it makes perfect sense that the bible would be the most censored book and the most popular.

  • huh, censoring is a good thing? what communist country are you from. plus, we know what the books say that were left out. the reason the books were left out for different sects was because it did not align with there NEW thinking...crazy?

  • i was saying censoring is a common thing, especially with books that people are serious about such as the bible. consider that communist countries usually are atheist and persecute religions.

  • who is allowed to censor God's word?

  • who is allowed to censor God's word?

  • No one is looking for truth, but even in that aspect all you get is rubbish. It took me awhile to even see this and it all started with getting answer else where like from Kevin Trudeau, and then from him to other stuff and ran into Dr. Sebi on the radio station in nyc and then other things connected to him on youtube and now here I am.

  • only 2500 views? wtf more people need to see this. i guess people dont want to believe the truth.

  • this is what you call the truth. ironic how the truth doesnt include any citations.

  • actually, there are a bunch of citations...this is just a small part of this movie...if you do a search for "open your eyes closing"...this is the actual end to this whole series and lists citations for about 5 minutes, SO...you should check that out

  • yeah, im sure there's plenty. especially from such great biblical scholars like the makers of zeitgeist. consider that they cant even get the gospels right: Jesus was not born Dec. 25th according to the gospels, nor was his declaration of being the "light" a literal statement.

  • first of all, i think everyone knows if Jesus was in fact born, that he wasn't on Dec 25... the fact that the 3 kings story is an adaptaiton from a Pagan religion greatly hurts the credibility to the holy birth story. just because one fact was misinterpreted, (and we all know people interpret the bible differently, hence the different christian religions) does not make everything else stated here as inaccurate.

  • ha, its not three kings. its wise men, and they werent explicitly said to be three of them. thats not the result of misinterpretation, but ignorance by skeptics. also theyre arent different christian religions, but rather different denominations. this video is innacurate, since all the scriptures they list are vastly manipulated.

  • well, "we three kings" is your song not mine. anyways, they are referenced by both names in christianity. this story is very common and is seen at every navinity seen at christmas. What are the FACTS about Jesus' birth anyways? I'm confused now, you say there weren't 3 wise men?

  • i didnt write the song, so it isnt mine. Matthew 2:7 says magi, not three. and they didnt see Jesus until he was a toddler after their return from egypt. america celebrates independence day on July 4th, yet not all people signed the document that day. but the event itself did happen.

  • why the decrepency with what is preceived by the non-christian world then? why not say it like it is to begin with?

  • so it is just a coincidence that sirius aligns with "The Three Kings" on the Winter Solstice Dec 25th. and points to the sun rise?

  • in fact if you research this yourself from the 5 minutes worth of citations given in the video i directed you to, you could unbiasedly look at the facts. you can also go to OTHER resources of your own choosing to look at how similar the Eqyptian religion is to the christian religion today. Also, study the history of the early church, post Christ's death, to see how the christian faith became the mainstream and all other religions were brutally killed off.

  • youre making no sense. i find no similarity between Christ and pagan gods. Krishna wasnt crucified, but rather pierced by an arrow. Horus wasnt born of a virgin, nor was he crufified. the video is full of anachronisms, to say theyre misinterpretations is ridiculous. the other religions werent kill off, Constantine became Christian, but he didnt persecute the pagan roots, it was Christianity that was nearly killed off by Romans.

  • well, since crucifixtion was derived from Romans and was a Roman way of killing criminals, of course Horus was not crucified. however, Seth did want to kill Horus, and Herod wanted to kill Jesus. so they both had murder plots against them and THIS can be confirmed.

  • yeah, and there were murder plots against MLK, Jfk, Ghandi, Benazir Bhutto. what kind of similarity is that? people that are for social change always have people seeking to assassinate them.

  • i didn't know JFK and Ghandi were holy beings that lived thousand of years ago. thanks for informing me. i would think if you were truly holy and could prove it with miracles, that no one would want to kill you. that's just me i guess. i would be afaid to. i mean that is what i am waiting for after all. a god to appear in front of me and perform a miracle.

  • people didnt believe Jesus was the christ, which is why they were wanted to kill him. and Christ didnt want rely on miracles, but on his word, but since they rejected his teachings they thought killing him would eliminate his followers and they were mistaken

  • there were other people at the same time who claimed to be the messiah, and who performed miracles...how do you explain this?

  • it was a critical time in Israel. Jews hated the Roman occupation. so many people did claim to be the messiah. as for the miracles, i havent read anything about that. yet all of their missions stopped with their deaths.

  • well, of course, their can't be more than one messiah, as their can't be more than one winner in a war. the person with the most followers is the one we hear about today. the inquisition, crusades, dark ages took care of everyone else that was believeing in anything else

  • the most followers. Christianity started out very small. if it followed the path you just described, it wouldnt have even made it through the century.

  • well, if it was politically driven...politics is a very influencial factor, has been proven to be and historical can be accounted to be, even in a religious aspect.

  • politics? consider that Emperor Nero blamed Christians for the great fire of rome in AD 64, and Christians were killed in the Colosseum. yeah im sure politics heavily favored them. lol.

  • Constantine, Rome, Romans...of course there are going to be exceptions, but not as influential

  • this was not used for political control either, this was just a temporary blame game. political control is far more influencial historically.

  • you go from talking about the power of numbers, to politics, to political control. just admit that you dont have anymore arguments.

  • sorry, i have multiple arguments, all of which add up to a pretty solid theory

  • care to share these arguments. im in the need for some laughter.

  • Spring is the season of new life and revival, when, from ancient times, the pagan peoples of Europe and Asia held their spring festivals, re-enacting ancient regeneration myths and performing magical and religious ceremonies to make the crops grow and prosper.

  • and that has nothig to do with regard to the gospels. The resurrection of Christ in the gospels occurs around passover. again, very irrelevant stuff.

  • sorry what is irrelevant? i am replying to many responses.

  • did you know passover is also pagan?

  • passover is from the biblical story of the exodus. i have no idea what you claim to know, since everything you say is either totally irrelevant, a list of "facts" about absolutely nothing.

  • "list of facts about nothing"

ok, you ask me a question, i answer and tell me it is irrelevant. such as "christianity has many traditions related to pagan beliefs" which in a couple sentences i answered. i don't see how that is nothing. please elaborate on my nothingness.

  • so what? a bunch of bs about spring and winter solstice. that has nothing to do with Christian theology, but rather tradition. the two are not the same. a person may celebrate valentine's day, but that doesnt mean they worship cupid! your arguments are wack.

  • also, i have asked any questions. you claim to think passover is pagan, which you havent verified. i doubt that you even know what it celebrates. youve also claimed that christmas and easter are pagan, which is false as well.

  • i proved easter is pagan already, do you want me to repeat myself, and this video shows you how dec 25th is a pagan birthday. how three kings(wisemen) follow the northern star to the birth....100% astrological, completely a pagan belief

  • the date has pagan origins, nothing else. you havent proven jack. this video shows how people know nothing about the gospels. no actual birth date! and i have yet to read any original eyptian mythology that say horus was born of a virgin, and visited, and baptized, etc.

  • pretty sure you know nothing about me, but i will tell you, i was raised christian, went to many baptist bible/basketball camps every summer of my young life and know a bit about the bible. i graduated from the univeristy of minnesota with a degree in mechanical engineering(which is a highly respected/difficult engineering program), i use logic, reason, and critical thinking in every aspect of my life. i look at both sides and make a conclusion based on evidence. this is me.

  • wow, you use logic and critical thinking. so does every person with a brain. you dont know anything about me or my beliefs, and im not going to give you some holier than thou description of myself.

  • ok, sorry about my arrogance...just trying to inform my background

  • consider what you said. you know a bit from your childhood. ive been living it all my life. and im not going to let some person tell me how to interpret my beliefs.

  • see, that is what bothers me, interpretation...not facts about my belief, but interpretation....how ambiguous. do you ever think about how a society of people could have BELIEVED in a pagan God and feel the exact same way that you do?

  • WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD CRUCIFY SOMEONE WHO COULD PERFORM MIRACLES AND HEAL THE SICK? i would keep someone like that around in case i got sick....put yourself if their shoes, it doesn't make logical sense

  • theyd crucify someone who claimed to be God, someone who spoke well about the romans, who forgave sins, who said the temple would be destroyed, who critisized the priests. youre thinking like an ignorant man who knows nothing about Jesus, nor the slightest clue about first century palestine.

  • no they crucified criminals as well, jesus was crucified beside criminals

  • of course you don't because you find a couple inaccuracies here and then disregard everything that isn't in line with your thinking...if you did that with the bible, you would be where i am.

  • well OK, you do however have to realize that their are many many many pagan traditions carried on in christianity today. you already admitted that christanity is using a pagan birthday to celebrate the birth of christ. Why would you want to do this??? if the birth was known to be holy, and the date of birth was known and documented in the bible, why have an abritrary pagan day to celebrate it on? this seems sacreligious, why do it?

  • actually the date of birth isnt documented in the bible. i didnt decide the date. and if there are many many many, then give me another example. this stuff proves nothing, since none of it is relevant to Christian theology, or early Christianity.

  • "Easter" is derived from Eastre, or Eostre, the Anglo-Saxon Goddess of spring and dawn. Traditions associated with the festival of the Teutonic fertility Goddess survive in the Easter rabbit and colored eggs.

  • thanks for that trivial bit of information. what does that have to do with anything! wow colored eggs. im sure atheists celebrate valentine's day. does that make them pagan?

  • no, you asked me a question and i answered it. did you want to rephrase your question?

  • if you take the bible literally, these facts should at least make you think.

  • youre supposed "facts" about how to interpret the bible only make me laugh. light is commonly used as metaphor for good, dark for bad. that is universal, its in the bible, poetry, shakespeare.

  • do you take the bible literally? this is a very simple fundamental question of religion.

  • thats a stupid question. you have to consider the verse. When Jesus says i am the light of the world, its a pun when he is healing a blind person. and it is a statement of righteousness.

  • i cant even begin to think how long it took to gather these evidence

  • i feel u on that one. i am amazed. i use to be a christian and pray and believe in jesus, i feel betrayed that i have been lied to. Amazing video.

  • beating a dead horse of christianity.

    great vid

  • You can find omens every where. I remember a song called the deck of cards that is full of religious symbolism. BTW the I just had a shit at it looks like the Maddona and child. Why not all come around to my little shit house and turn it into a shrine? You could place candles around the rim of the toilet seat and pray and thank god for the sign he has given us all!

  • Why ppl don't like to listen the truth...Rather then Seaching Beautiful woman and Manga/animi.

    I don't understand.

  • hell ya manga rocks and beautiful hot women.

  • great source of information, and thank you. only anachronism is Mithra being dated earlier in the series at 1200 bc, half way into the ram not needing to kill a bull, right?

  • Christianity has benn pw3nd...again.
