  • Great explanation, nice job!

  • @TommyGadd Thank you very much. Glad I could help

  • @DominickDiy hey its ok the way you go with the bucket of water and kinda clean as you go...the way i do it is after i do a section and im gonna move on to the next i just use the float and take off ALL the extra that is on top of the tile THEN when i go back to wash the floor for the finished product i take a broom to the floor witch will get all the extra "dirt" and will give u a nice grout line, save's you from having to change the water many extra times or in your case clean as u go

  • Great video ! Very helpful ! Thanks Dominick.

  • @CladCoin Thank you very much.

  • Excellent tutorial. I'm redoing my kitchen, got the tile down, and was looking for tips before I start grouting. Next trick is to see if I can make it look as easy as you do.

    PS - I want that shirt. :-)

  • This was a good tutorial. Thanks for your help!

  • @GooGoo32 Glad I could help, Thank you.

  • thanks for your help, i will be grouting tonight!

  • The only thing you left out that saw in other videos was you did not show your butt crack...lol but this is the best instructional thus far..Thanks I will try your method!

  • @osvasan11 I guess that's a good thing.

  • @DominickDiy: oh yeah its a good thing. Just finished laying down the tile and waiting for it to fully cure before doing the grout...Thanks!

  • I looked @ your shirt!

  • Thanks man this was agreat instructional video. Im def subbing for more useful tips. Thanks again :)

  • Thanks Mate. Great vid

  • Perfect! Just what I needed to know!

Will keep coming back for more DIY help!

  • Is there a video for when you go to wipe off the haze an hour later and your tile is stained and it won't come off no matter how much you scrub?

  • Thank you so much for the time you spent to make these videos!! With your tips, I was able to complete my tiles installation without much trouble!

  • LOL @ stop looking at my shirt. Nice vid. Do you recommend using thinset over a wood subfloor in the bathroom or do you need to lay backer board first? Thanks, ya da man.

  • @zthermo As long as the wood floor is at least 1 1/4 think. Other wise yes I would then add 1/2 tile board

  • The best grout to get is the one that its sealed ready, that way you dont need sealing after grouting .

  • @gusyve1 never heard of that grout.

  • @DominickDiy Maybe he means epoxy grout?? It doesn't need to be sealed.

  • Dominick – nice thorough video

  • do i need to seal the ground? i saw a guy do that do i have to do that ever time?

  • What's the best ground to use on ceramic tile?

  • @Areklata It's called grout. Just use any grout for tile.

  • @Areklata ground?thats called grout!!!!!!stupid!!!!!!!

  • Great video and you are very engaging to watch. I loved your laminate flooring and ceramic tile videos. It would be nice if you can also show us how to install a vanity sink and faucet. Thanks!

  • Awesome Dominick!

Perfect timing on how to do this...will be doing this very soon.

  • Cool deal. Glad I could help out. Looks like I'll be making some new videos this weekend. Lots of request so far.

  • @DominickDiy

    Sweeeeet,

  • I look forward to a video how to Set tile and picking the spacer you need.

I have some 13x13 Porcelain Tile that I'm setting over ditra and can't find out what size the grout line should be for a tile that size and what size trowel to use for the thinset.

A video on that would be great:)

  • stay tuned as they say. I'm working on posting that video now. But as far as what size grout lines, well that up to you really. However lager grout lines are a thing of the past for the most part.
