Napoleon Bonaparte was born august 15th, 1769 in Ajaccio, Corsica, and his war and riding horse was a gray arabian stallion named -Marengo-. The stallion carried him from Boulogne-sur-Mer to the battlefields of Austerlitz, Jena-Auerstedt, Wagram, Waterloo, and he survived the retreat of Moscow. The stallion was wounded eight times during the battles and died at the age of 38 years.
