I build Cliq, Droid, Blur, Backflips from trays of parts called builds. There are several other test stations to flash, test, radiate. But, worst of all is QC touchscreen apps. Either the OS cant handle the tracking or the screen sensitvity is out of calibration. I wouldn't get 2 carried-away! These phones have a long way to go in developing a likable history before they become noteworthy.

Nope Wi-FI internet access is always free. But if you get this phone you have to buy an unlimited data plan so you wouldn't get charged anyway.

G1 is for the tech enthusiast because of it's android platform, and the sidekick is aimed at the younger crowd, focused at messaging and basic web browsing

Blackberry curve. I had one of these and the battery life is terrible. Although the apps are open source you may find a free app you're using all of a sudden they charge for it. You only find out after you've done an update on an application. Also this doesn't have video capture, the camera has no flash and it's also very slow in night mode.

Positives of the phone is that it syncs with your google account flawlessly. Calendar, contacts (free back up of contacts!) gmail.

With this phone you could call me people and when they look at the caller id, it would be a different number. And if you want to call someone and if you don't want them to hear your actually voice then you could disguise it. I love it. And you could record your phone calls.

no this is made by htc and google. its an internet based handset, to sign into it for the first time you must have internet provisioned on your account. it will not work without it. and if you do get in without it on your account and you lock yourself out at anytime. your screwed because it will ask for you username and password(gmail account) you set up with it when you got it.

The screen and the theme of the G1 doesn't look as colorful as the Touch. But the as the G1 is an "open platform" makes it very interesting and how user friendly it is!

I got mine this week and I must say that it is off the chain. The only complain is the annoying "hump". It makes texting/typing harder. As far as features are concerned it is up there if not better than Iphone. The reviewers let it be known that there are hundreds of free applications readily available. Sometimes I forget it is a phone until i rings lol

yeah. i got the SK2 3 months before the SK3 came out. i didnt know and i was like "shit if i only waited a little longer!" but oh well. regardless of being "out dated" i do love my SK2 and its the best phone I've ever had. almost 5 years and it still runs like new. its taken so much abuse and its like it refuses to die. i swear its like its made out of diamonds sometimes. built tough. im not trying to break it, im just saying its lasted me longer then any phone ive seen or owned. great phone
