I got a spare gamecube over here, and i was thinking about modding-ideas. You just inspired me enough with this video. The top logo is coming off and i'm replacing it with something you can see trough. Watching that disc spin gives the console more of an "alive" kind of feeling. Good job!

what size led's did you go with?, I was thinking about a mod on mine and going with 3mm leds but Radio Shack doesn't have the blue led's! I guess they have to special order those. Also what size fan did you go with?, I know there's a computer place closeby that I can get some PC fans, but still they'd have to be pretty small.

a question, where did you get the power from?

i mean you can get the power in paralell circut from the power led at the fron but that really only supports 2 leds.

aha mines alot like that i did the same cut a hole in the top and inserted a glass cutout, then i painted the face plat red and the buttons so it was now black and red then i added red LEDs like you did to the controller ports, only thing i did different was a took a cpu fan and fabricated it to fit on the intake duct on the side to blow cool air in to keep the system cool for good aha lol:P, ps the cpu fan was black and red, made it look real nice, so from a system modder to another,nice work

Actually the gamecube does have the holes above the ports but just indented not going all the way through, so what he did was drill out the rest of the hole so the light would shine through.
