the only way i was able to fix it is to stop it from coming on the start up. or you can look for that kind of dll files and put it in system32 folder. try this,

1.go to start

2.run

3.type in msconfig

4.go to startup toolbar

5. look for the error message in there

6.uncheck it

then you should be done. but when you restart your pc next time, it will display some message. click on never show this again. then ok.

now it should fix it. if this doesnt work, email me and i will tell you more ways

THE FOLLOWING FIX IS UNSUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION:

1) Go to start->run and type in Regedit and press enter. This will bring up the registry editor.

2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Py­thon\Pythoncore\2.1\ Pythonpath\WIN32 and click on the win32 folder

3) Go to the file menu at the top and select export

4) Choose a location, and then enter a name for the registry key backup

5) then delete the whole WIN32 folder inside the pythonpath folder.

Now close the registry editor and start the game. The problem should be fixed.

for safety i only delete the files when im about to play and then i import them back to normal when im done. i advise you import the files before you turn off you computer or you may have some trouble the next time you start it. if it happens just reboot the computer until it goes to windows or press f6. btw this solution is for VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE BLOODLINES... play safe :)
