Even if everyone was the same religion, this conflict would still exist because of racial and ethnic sub category differences. egelbird, if you were to read the Quran from a non muslim point of view, your perspective would certainly change. The Quran conveys clearly a message of superiority and authority of the entire world. God create all of humankind, not just muslims. And no god would invent such nonsense sending his creations to a so-called hell (he knows their fate even as he creates them one would think, so that would be a very mean and nasty god)
