I love exitmusic, but I hate this video.

Saw Exit music for first time in New Haven summer of 2011 with friend's band Farewood. Nice, dark, psychosis material for the tastens. Nice blend of funeral with psychosis (I think), with a lovely touch of LSD, which is always a wonderful coating to the product. Topped with a female singer. The video: the middle finger and the book (in the beginning revolutionary scene) was humorous, and the anti-military chess game scenerio nicely realistic. Too much visual clutter though (warehouse). Sweet!

wow. this is literally one of the most laughably pretentious videos i have ever seen. are these kids serious? i actually laughed out loud several times. and then i fell asleep.

'Pretentious' is a word used by those who don't understand against that which makes them jealous, like a monkey flinging you know what... mere sniping from the cheap seats... Go back to the Pussycat Dolls vids if this is too heavy for you! lol EXITMUSIC is one of the few truly original voices out there - and what they're saying is worth hearing! I've seen 'em live twice and I treasure every minute of music they bestow upon us!

sometimes people us the word "pretentious" because it is the most apt description for the situation. some people use words like 'bestow' to because they're afraid they don't sound smart enough.

i don't have to like this just because you do. my feelings about it don't take away from your enjoyment, and i am entitled to them. are you afraid there's an air of truth to my original comment?

also, some people use the term 'lol' .....and some people don't.

Spoken like a real mealy-mouthed sniveler, lonelycat! Fact is, you went out of your way to trash another's creation - a lot easier, mean-spirited, and more cowardly than actually creating something yourself - if you were capable. And you proved my original thesis re: your mental capacity - 'bestow' isn't a pretentious synonym for 'give' or 'grant'; it has a distinct meaning of its own. May you run out and jump on your bicycle, only to belatedly discover that someone has stolen the seat! lol
