  • The Hoogezand site was used for the first time in 1946, but this was on AM.

  • At the time this was filmed they were testing the transmitter using the dummy load, as the station was using another transmitter at their original site (Hoogezand) at the time. 97.5 MHz has been in use from the previous site since the 1950's.

  • Nice!!! The only thing I understood was that there is a 10 kW dummy load. What are you using it for?
