haha, this is matt, emma's boyfriend. i have a 1994 subaru impreza with the 1.8l H4 engine, and i've taken it anywhere. I could have made it up that trail no problem. AWD 5-speed, i've had the car over hood-deep in water 6 times and made it out no problem. you just have to give them a good run at whatever you need to clear.
Actually it does fine on those rougher roads. You just have to know how to drive it so you don't get stuck. I've taken mine on pretty rough roads and it does great.
@didymus2000 I've taken my Legacy GT wagon on worse trails and had no problems with getting stuck yet my GT is 2" lower than the Outback. They need to remake this video showing what a Outback can truly do instead of trying to bash it without even trying.
ive got one exactly like that. it has gotten stuck once, on our snowy driveway, literally 5 feet away from the garage. in its defence, it was from a stop, on a hill and was ice, not snow.
wow. i'm a total subaru fanatic! thats all my family has had for 30 years. and trust me, your driving technique is something to be desired for. i've never gotten one stuck. and thats for 30 YEARS of subaru! so learn how to drive. i've driven over WAY worse conditions. i've never gotten stuck. i liked the video though. good job!
Haha this vid was awesome! loved it

Whoever made this video should take the advice of didymus2000. Honestly, the Outback can do far better, you guys just didn't try hard enough...
And what the hell? That is NOT stuck. The driver is stuck, not the car...

Haha you guys are my age and you are like trying to sell a 2001 outback. You guys should go into car sales. You'd be good at it.

if you were to drive that outback right, you would have easily made it past those ruts.
