Sup man I am Kengi. I am 40 and I am a Sickle Cell Patient and this disease has been very hard to deal with at times. I am empowered and inspired by you and your efforts to raise awareness for Sickle Cell Disease is awesome.

I'm glad you are feeling better my son has Sickle Beta Thalassemia so I know what you are going through but the one thing that cause more sickleing is stress. Drink lots of water and vitamin B12 is your best friend. Look up foods that you should eat and cut out junk food. We did a good job in Africa surviving long ago with this disease and we only did it through eating right and keeping each other happy. I'm Haitian too, Como ou ye. Not sure if I spelled that right but I try.
