@kemp1222 Look at the final battle of the game. WhiteRa was moving his high templars around, microing his units, dropping storms and trying to chase the opponent's units. When this happens you almost have to completely abandon macro during a fight like that. In general you should never let your minerals get that high, but the fate of that game was balancing around that last fight. Naturally your minerals will get higher at times like that.

Are you asking? 3-gate robo perfectly sets you up to crush banshees, especially if he goes cloak. Get 2 or so obs from the robo and chrono stalkers out of your gates. Then its just a dance of killing the banshees while mitigating their damage as well as possible.

Note that most banshee-ing players will bunker up, getting an immortal or two works amazing for crushing bunkers and pounding him even when he feels safe.

Can't say I agree about zealot legs VS terran. I have not experienced that zealot legs allow you to surround the infantry ball. A stim still allows their whole army to walk away from zealots (after a single charge fires) I try to saturate heavy with stalkers and stay away from zealots other than a few in your army to eat shots while you get your FFs in position.

I don't really like colossi against Terran anymore, but they're still a necessary filler while getting HTs.

Really curious if you could add this into your build orders; Of course we base the build order off of food count, but where is it probes and where is it army units? Noting this video, is it 2 probes in between the robo and 2nd assimilator, or is it a single zealot? i think it would really assist in establishing a build that we can learn and eventually adjust to our own strategies.

@Drogith what xelacus said is true, another two points are that youre supposed to be making probes almost nonstop anyway, so you dont really need that pointed out again and again and that the units hes making are crucial part of the build, i think lower league players often focus too much on their BO instead of the actual game in terms of incoming pressure and ways of defending it (which is mostly making units ofc)

How many times must I say as soon as u find out you are up against toss, towers up around your main and at least a couple of ravens.  Also do not be afraid to have siege tanks. You should know they will go immortals to counter where you can do 1 of 2 things or both, proper marine placement to take down shields quickly and or ghost emp. You do not have to over commit and with scan and having your main protected from scouts you have a decent advantage for unit composition.

@revolverA If you spread out 3 Zealots or 2 Immortals infront of your army, his Tanks aren't worth it, because they deal almost no damage them and barely any AoE damage. if you have Chargelots, his Tanks will deal more damage to his own units than to yours. Tanks are indeed useless against protoss.

@wesker723 no upgrades? i should remind you that extended thermal lance, kaydharin amulet, and psionic storm are all upgrades. the protoss is the most upgrade dependent race with even the gateways needing an upgrade to become warpgates. Also terran isn't op the only people who claim that are those who either try to 4 gate, or zerg players who are way to greedy.

it is just about response.. if he over massed viking just quickly switch to immortals(thats why i do 2/3 robos) and with them on board you will be able to storm them to death.. also it is handy use warp prism loaded with templars to avoid his forces and storm him from back and also feedback his medivacs (eventualy ghosts) or you can just send few HT to death but with proper micro you will be able to drop down at least one storm and soft up his healthy bioball :) hope that helped
