  • BYE.

  • LOL x10000000000000000! What the Hell? The movies got worse as the years went on. Thank God Christopher Reeve turned down making an appearance in that crap Superwoman, which was also a pile of shit

  • is it me or did the kid said "Weeee" when he got flung up the tree?

  • Kuwait's right! Thank you شكرا امريكا هي سبورمان للخير فقد ساعدت وحررت الكويت من الشرير

  • How did this get made?

  • ok it was unnecessary to grave and squeeze that kids ass like that then the look he gave after was like can't believe i got this kid ass like this"

  • That's some horrible dubbing, lol

  • that wasn't deleted - it was in the film!

  • wtf lol?

  • Press '3' repeatedly to see super-boy. Most of this movie looks like a Benny Hill sketch. Even the bald old man from Benny Hill appears at the beginning.

  • Pedo-El

  • At 0:28 you can tell how foggy it looks in the background when Superman is in the air..

  • Christopher reeve is gone :( :( :( SAD OF IT ! :( :( May his souls rest in peace...!

  • superman grabs the kids bum? wtf

  • @nibfu I know right! wtf!?!?

  • Immaculate hair and strong profile at :37. Reeve looked the part.

  • @scuban1975

He actually worked out for the role cos he was skinny at first :D The director liked his audition though

  • such a bad movie

  • 0:37 Now dont fucking do it again!

  • 0:29 9 out of 10 adults would pick up a kid under their arms..... superman I see goes straight for the ass cheeks?

  • The video is cropped to death.

  • bye

  • Comment removed

  • I hate it when a cherry-picker hovers over a playground with loose dropping objects ... happens all the time ... WTF

  • - OK Reeve, now you grab the kid's ass !

    - What the fuck ?

    - It's the script, man.

    - Who do you think I am, Pedobear ?

  • This scene was not deleted for Superman III. I watched the movie a thousand times.

  • my favorite is the superman IV... the most view were the I and II... the IV because the III was a shit for much people

  • ...Reeve will ALWAYS be the Man of Steel...RIP Bro...

  • this is worstsuperman movie ever

  • @ahidalgoify have u ever seen 4?lol

  • @ahidalgoify ever seen Superman IV? lol

  • I love that the kid goes "WHEEEE!" all the way up.

And a Superman rescue wasn't even necessary, the guys in the crane could have gotten the kid.

  • @loner1878 That's true. Maybe they were going to get the kid but, Superman came faster than them.

  • Love Superman's very abrupt "Bye!"

  • @godlydaddy cos he knows this scene is stupid and just wants to leave

  • he can fly very fast, how come his haircut stays the same? must be a super-haircut/super-shampoo?

  • This isn't a deleted scene.

  • The original script had Soope flying down to collar a bald dude from behind whom he thinks is Lex Luther. Just as he is about to grab him, Telly Savalas turns around says 'Who Loves Ya Baby?!' and hands him a lollipop!

  • That scene was as awful as the movie. I and II were great fo the time, but the rest were horrible. I often wonder what Reeve could have done with a real script.

  • bye HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • WHat amazed me about this scene was the fact that the voice of the British woman was dubbed over with the voice of an actress with an american accent that didn't even fit the scene. It was a whole mess.

  • tipical resue.

  • That kid was a young Steve-O.

  • Was Superman taking a piss?

  • @pberrylas Maybe he was talking to Jimmy Olson (Jimmy Olson is the only person in that area he knew) or some stranger since if you see at 0:25, before Superman flew up in the air, you will see a guy wearing a yellow shirt so maybe he was talking to that guy. I remember a scene before this scene, he saved a guy who was in his car where his car got filled up by water, so maybe that was the guy Superman was talking too, and after he saved the kid, he probably went back to talk to that guy.

  • hhahahahahahahahahahaha bye

  • Richard Lester completely ruined Superman for me back in the 70's and 80's. Should have let Donner finish filming his vision for 1 & 2 back to back.

  • from the tv version

  • U mean the whole film should of been deleted. BAD FILM. WITH THE usual KEN THORNES LONDON HIGH SCHOOL BAND...The Salkinds truly screwed this up.

  • the whole "Superman III" movie is a deleted scene....

  • No.

  • @KingCesar10121 lol, plus that woman must've wayed a billion pounds

  • its a kid not a cat that kid would've broken all of his bones this was too stupid to have been made let alone deleted

  • Superman flicking peanuts at the bar is a badass plain and simple.

  • and Superman just happened to be right there, fk this was stupid lol

  • what!?

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH what the fuck was the studio thinking!!! this is like batman and robin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A lot of people say that Superman IV was the worst film, but in my opinion Superman III was alot worse. I mean, who is going to be interested in some man trying to get oil

  • Was supe's having a piss?

  • @nath909 LOL it does look like it

  • I just had to watch that 3 times to make sure it really happened. wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Uh...either that construction crew is inadequate or that mother is...one of them is definitely at fault for that!

  • I remember seeing this scene when it was shown on British TV years ago. Why would that be?

  • @woowoobear Same here. It wasn't deleted in the UK TV versions. I have this on Betamax from the 80's.

  • BYE!!! lol

  • it's the worse movie of the 4 with CR, by faaaar.

  • @Barlowned The Junkyard scene in 3 is better then the entire superman 4

  • @ojideagu yah bad that's a great fucking scene. The rest is terrrible

  • LOL :41 bye.

  • @videostasdude yah I fucking love that oh so abrupt departure. "here's your fucking kid, now I gotta go pimping."

  • I am sure parents would of been outraged over this scene, but I think it is hilarious.

  • @kidistight IT was shown in the UK without any outrage. I didn't even know it was a deleted scene

  • Bye.

  • Why does the lady say "weeee" as the kid is flying up in the air?

  • @jpckrd It's the kid saying weee lol

  • That makes more sense but it all sounds like her voice

  • @jpckrd I suppose, I'm just thinking an odd sound effect would be the kid. Like if it were a spring.

  • hahaha that lady was annoying.

  • So scary to know that Superman 3 could have been way worse that it already is..

  • @dbreiden83080 lol everything ABOUT the Superman films was wrong...except for Clark...that was dead-on! I suppose even with the corny parts they still are funny

  • He said: byeeeeeeeeee

  • how did the little kid got up there anywy? this escene is moronic jajajaj good movie though

  • Talk about stupid. At least the flying looked decent.

  • it seems like if hes thinking ughh do i have to save him?

  • I was scared to open any video that was worthy of deletion from Superman 3.

  • From what I saw of this movie, they should have deleted the whole thing.

  • Bye!

  • as funny as it was it was good it got kicked out.

  • nonthing against Richard Pryor, but he never should have been in this. His presence overshadowed Superman's. That's like Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle being in he next Superman or Spider-man movie.

  • @msmithstud You're right, but that's not Pryor's fault. They tried to go in a new direction in S3 for various reasons. Gene Hackman and Margot Kidder were pissed at the Salkinds, which lead them to go with the Robert Vaughn as a new lead villain, and Annette O' Toole as the love interest. The Salkinds denied this, but when you look at the fact that Margot and Gene were back in Superman IV, well...draw your own conclusions.

The series peaked at Superman II.

  • @TheKingOfRuckus i know Margot has said in interviews that it was her out spoken opinion of Donner being let go which led to her being practically written out of III. I enjoy III, particularly the ''darker'' superman concept. A double for Hackman was used in some of the FOS scenes for II. In the Lester cut, when the villains first fly into the FOS, when Ursa drops Luther off her back, that's a double. Hackman's portrayal of Luther was pretty hillarious at times. His comedy worked, pryor's didn't

  • Superman III was a deleted scene >.>

  • Ya and all I got for playing this part were a lousy lollypop and a juice box that I blew into and spilled all over the trailer, before my mother smacked me in the back of the head. It was filmed in the winter downtown Calgary, and superman missed the tree like five times…

  • here's your fucking kid...bye!

  • I remember watching this film on VHS in about 1987 or something at home, and this bit was in it. I could never find it on the DVD I later bought. At least I know now that I didn't imagine it! But I would agree with most people- Superman III was a huge mistake, though I quite liked the fight in the scrapyard!

  • Good idea to delete it.

  • This whole movie should have been deleted.

  • @LDKBBAB

    amen to that .

  • SUPER MAN!!!(super man gives babby to laidie)bye...WTF???

  • he should've slammed dunk that kid and call it a day!

  • If you thought a baby flying through the air and somersaulting perfectly onto the branch of tree (weeeee!!!) without being splattered was idiotic, Reeve described a thankfully never filmed scene that was in the original draft of the first movie...Lex Luthor has escaped into the crowded streets of Metropolis, Superman is hunting him, he sees a bald guy from behind, swoops down to catch him...then the audience hears 'Who Loves Ya Baby?!' and Telly Savalas turns around and hands him a lolipop!

  • @TomthatiscalledTom Yes, those early versions of the script had some incredibly stupid content. Can you believe that it also originally included a fat, clumsy "comedy relief" Luthor henchman called Otis that..... oh shit.

  • Why didnt that same lift that dropped the bag get the kid out of the tree?

  • @mercmarc Because Superman was around XDD

  • all of superman II 's deleted scenes were once uploaded on youtube but were eventually removed a while back.

  • I didn't know Rosie O'Donnell had child in 1983?!?!

  • These types of scenes are what ruined Superman. From the horrible dubbing to the strange Metropolis actors, these shots were always campy and not well thought out. Case in point, in Superman 2 you had all of the stupid people in Metropolis watching Superman fight Zodd. The citizens talk like idiots and there was too much humor injected (toupees flying off and the guy blowing backwards on skates, just to name a few).

  • @MasterJediDude thank Richard Lester for all that. Those kind of corny gags were originally written for 1 , but Donner and creative consultant Tom Manciewicz threw them out of the script.

  • @msmithstud

    - Yeah. They originally had a scene in the 1st movie w / Superman is tracking Luthor, then he swoops down on him & it's Kojak, who offers him a lollipop. I'm surprised they didn't have that in this crap - fest. It was meant as a Richard Pryor comedy piece w / Superman just happening to appear in it.

  • @msmithstud Yeah, they were all pretty bad. Thanks for the response!

  • lol he knew it was crap wat is so bad about this the mother is stupid

  • They shouldn't have been at the playground anyway if they were doing construction! K,bye!

  • AMC is the first and only channel to show this movie. I haven't seen this movie on tv in almost 20 years. NO JOKE. For a while in the late 80's and 90 you could catch the extended cut on TBS from time to time. I was hoping AMC would have included all the deleted scenes but they are only showing the theaterical cut. I haven't seen this movie on HBO, SHOWTIME OR CINEMAX in almost 25 years. The forgotten Superman movie.

  • After reading comments like, "I'm glad they took that scene out," or "that was stupid," I can understand why there is so much crap art in the world. Some people just aren't creative enough to recognize how cool it was that Superman was turned into a Richard Pryor movie. Lester was a cultural agitator. He knew what he was doing. However, most Americans are too dumb to appreciate shit like that.

  • bye? that's rather rude...

  • bye!

  • bye (Inner Superman:" oh crap i should´ve stayed at Krypton")

  • weeeeeeeeee!! lol

  • it sounds like the kid is having fun he goes al "WIIII!"8D

  • The best flight effect ever made, the only real Superman, Christopher Reev, we miss!!! Regars to the whole fan world from Bologna, Italy.

  • "bye" lol

  • What a stupid scene

  • L0L

  • This scene does end up on some tv versions.

  • For some reason I remember seeing this scene before.

  • should've called the fire department and let Superman go help someone that was in REAL trouble.

  • This scene was in the original theater version.

  • I can see why it was deleted, man that was gay!!

  • this movie has not aired on tv in so many years. The only Superman movies I see are 1, 2, and Returns. This movie finally aired on AMC over the weekend and i was hoping it would have had the extended footage but it didn't.

  • @msmithstud I know ey, it's like the forgotten Superman movie, so weird, it's even hard to get on video tape...

  • Get a good story together, and do it right for once. Superman deserves at least as much dedication and effort as has been given to movies like Dark Knight or Iron Man. He is an icon in every sense of the word, and should have a movie (or series of movies) that are worthy of the character.

  • Why can't we just delete Superman 3, Superman 4, and Superman Returns, and start from scratch with--oh, I don't know--a GOOD SCRIPT?!? Take out the whole cast and director of Returns, and replace with Tom Welling and Erica Durance from Smallville (they're 10 times better than Brandon Routh and Kate "Blue Crush" Bosworth).

  • Hahahaha Superman never has a minute alone, he was thinking 'Ahhhh f*** another one' and i reckon he rushed off so quick was because he was dying for a piss and probably takes 15minutes to get his kit off LOLLLLLLL

  • Oh Dear God...

  • lmao @13 sec WEEEEEEE!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!! the kid look like raggedy andy

  • Richard Lester had a real weird vision for Superman. He should have stuck with sticking to the source material instead of all the visual gags. That's why Donner knew how to make a good Superman film.

  • how is that a deleted scene ??? that scene was allways in the original. i got it on tape since the mid eighties and saw this at the cinama plus several tv re-runs. allways in. maybe not in the later dvd and blueray releases but certainly allways in before that

  • @philjpollard

Well, I have a VHS release and the DVD release from the box set and this scene isn't in either of them.

  • @TheShockMaster my TV version in the UK from the 80's has the scene in it.

  • i can see why this was deleted

  • @legomajor Because of the TWA?

    LOL

  • damn he just rescued the kid and says "bye" haha

  • ......even worse scenes were planned in the original script. Christopher Reeve mentions this in his autobiography, Still Me...there was going to be a scene where Superman, on the hunt for a wig-free Lex Luthor sees a bald man in the street from behind. He swoops down and just as he is about to collar him, we hear 'Who Loves Ya Baby?'....and suddenly Telly Savalas swings around and offers him a lollipop!

  • The director (Richard Lester) was obsessed with these "screwball" stunts. He ruined this movie, and tried his best to ruin Superman II when he came on board after the first director was fired. I can't believe he thought this kind of stuff was funny or appropriate in an action movie. Maybe it was when the Three Stooges were still new to the scene, but it didn't age well and looked hopelessly dated even in 1983.

  • @icemachine79 Don't rag on screwball, the 3 Stooges are great! . . . just it shouldn't be in a Superman movie. The opening scene of III with the car filling with water is really quite embarrassing. Not to mention Richard Pryor skiing off a skyscraper and not receiving a scratch, let alone getting killed.

  • God, this is why everyone in the world wishes they could fly.

  • I actually think of him more as a dick than evil. He never really actually HARMS anyone, just kinda says "eff it" and does his own thing. Gettin' lushed up, boning Lorelai on the Statue of Liberty...he's just sorta in it for himself. They did make me laugh though

  • wtf? that was really gay!

  • Superman III has grown on me over the years. Parts of the film are pretty good, like the junkyard fight sequence and parts of the Smallville stuff. I especially like the scene where Superman begins to feel the corruption that the Kryptonite brings on him when he is at Lana's house. It's a very well acted scene by Christopher Reeve and enhanced with the creepy music Ken Thorne composed for it.

  • While Superman III may not be the style and taste that is popular today , it was very sucessful and very well recieved with audiance's in 83.

From what I see of the Film , the bad Superman was just suppose too be a corrupt person and not nessisarily evil , persay.

  • good thing they deleted this scene

  • did supe's middle finger go up that kids pooper?

  • i love SIII, but Lester, a comedy director, over did the gags a bit. It became more of a Pryor comedy than a Superman movie. Even Christopher Reeve later said the scene with Richard Pryor falling off the building with a pink tablecloth was ''in poor taste.''

  • Superman III is what it is. A fun and chessy Superman Adventure. In many way's it like watching a singular , classic Fleischer episode. With Great action , Dazzling Special effects and a terriffic performance by Christopher Reeve . I don't think anyone should feel ashamed for enjoying it. One day I'd really love to see a special cut with some of these fun scenes back in the movie along with the space titles.

  • You know.....you...umm. lol. Wow. This was just pure yikes. Richard Donner must have been laughing his ass off at this campy, silly, vehicle for Richard Pryor, movie.

  • hahahaha THAT BABY HAHHAHAHA

  • From what I have seen, this is not a deleted scene. My version is recorded off of 1989 TV though.

  • LMAO

  • Chris Reeve left so fast in that scene, he knew it was crap.

  • @cinemastorm lol

  • @cinemastorm LOL! He also got a nice hand full of that kid's butt.

  • WOW. Talk about bad acting.

  • oh dear

  • This ENTIRE MOVIE should have been deleted before it was released in the theaters. (I think Christopher Reeve would have agreed with me).

  • ya but actually he get a good quantity of money for that one, still he doesnt like the results. this was a bad one

  • You think this is bad? I read an interview with Chris Reeve in which he described a scene that was dropped from the script of the (naturally) Richard Lester version of II. Superman sees a bunch of apparent bank robbers running away from the crime scene, one of which is a bald guy. Superman swoops down to collar him, he turns to camera and says (holding up a lollipop for Superman) 'who loves ya baby?' (Lester wanted a Telly Savalas/Kojak cameo)

    Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • thanks Gods is was deleted jajajjaja

  • @mjesus33 The whole movie should have been deleted with Superman 4!

  • @mjesus33 What they left in was not much better...

  • The whole movie should have been deleted

  • I can see why it was deleted.

  • I remember this scene.

  • This was in the British TV version but edited for the DVD.

TV version had about 17 minutes more footage.

ps. Superman 3 is a great movie IMHO and nowhere near as bad as people make out.

FAR superior to the 4th anyway!

  • I agree, it was a welcome change of pace for the series,in the 1st Superman was depicted as a God figure,in the 2nd as an action hero and in the 3rd a comic book character, there you have a complete profile of Superman

  • Why would someone give you a negative for that? That was very well put? I just don't get it.

  • I completely agree.

Why would we need another epic Superman movie after 1.

We had a great action flick in 2.

But 3 was fresh, well acted and comic book style. Theres only so much Lex Luther any man can take, Superman had more than one enemy and braniac was one, so in a way then, was Pryor, who I also found hilarious.
