OH BOY, did you nail the types. I've encountered them all, whether in my chair or walking with cane or walker. I'm fortunate that my right leg still functions fairly decently, but I've landed on my backside a few times because of such 'help'. I figure I'm doing well enough without the 'help'. Most times I can go out of my way and avoid stairs & well-meaning helpers. Thanks for the laugh!
