Gorgeous! And the dancing is great, too. You remind me of Al Norman, the novelty dancer with Paul Whiteman (see 'Happy Feet'), but are infinitely more pleasant to watch.
i would like to thank you for this awesome vid. I am in a parade tomorrow, spinning a fire staff and dancing, and am going to be including the diga diga do track as performed on the g-swing cd youtube wont let me post the link. and randomly found you on youtube. i think you look awesome!!
I like you a lot you dance like beautiful lady in a 1850s bordello hahaha go to my channel under my favorites scroll down till you see the video "Live Music In New Orleans" this lady is doing the same era of dancing your both beautiful :)
Hot damn! Now that's some mighty fine dancing! :D I'm not sure which is more attractive... your taste in music and dance, or the fact that you're absolutely having a blast while doing it :D
Wow great video. Its a little hard to see though. Maybe next time if you wore light colored fitted pants. Or lit the background somehow. Black loose pants on a darkened background just makes it really difficult to see.
I would really love to learn how to dance like this--do you mind me asking how you learned it? I'm making a little headway trying to mimic you, still look really goofy though!
i feel that when ever i watch some dancing stuff from back then today that they glorify the balboa more than the shag, not that i'm being a pessimistic about the balboa it's just i would like to see those lindy hoppers of today foing the shag some more
I wish I could watch the entire clip - I get too exhausted! Was I EVER in your kind of athletic shape? NO WAY - not even before my rebuilt knees! As for your arms ... never even noticed them!!!
That was swell! So that's where all the interesting women have gone - dancing inside tiny screens. Seriously, I really enjoyed this. I was simply looking for this song, and found something better. Fantatic dancing. Truly. And I should know -- my father was Gene Kelly. Perhaps not THE Gene Kelly of the moving pictures, but to me he was THE Gene Kelly.
Your dancing does cheer one up - both in this and "Gimme Dat Ding". Frustration: went to the "Miss the Mississippi" video and heard the fiddler introducing the band - Great, I thought: I'll learn this girl's name. Then he gets to you and says, "and you all know who this is" ... thunderous applause ... can't hear the name. Ah, woman of mystery! Keep dancing and bringing that joy, young lady!
Just looking at the side clips, I see you dance to a great line of music instead of this crappy stuff everybody loves today. How about giving Maceo Pinkard's "Sweet Man" (1925) a try? I love that song and it seems like it might be up your alley.
Man, Iwould give anything to be able to do "The Old Soft Shoe" as my Pops used to call it. Don't believe those who say your arms are wrong like that. They aare perfect . The attention are to your feet and what they are doing. You really can "Cut the Rug" Keep up the great dancing. yYou Are absolutley terrific.
I'm honestly not sure what to think. You're obviously a pretty good dancer, but the feet noises get in the way of enjoying the music with the dancing. You're keeping your center body too still in relationship to your arms and legs, and so mst of the time you're just vertical and it's a tad boring just watching you act like Charlie Chaplin with your feet.
It looks like you have ants in your britches young lady! I grew up in the swing era, and I saw Artie Shaw at the Dubuque, Iowa Armory once when I was 17. Never understood these swing dancers with their rubber legs and loose morals!
Really cool song....but your dancing...simply incredible. I first saw you in the "Gimme Dat Thing" video and was awed by you. I had to see the full dance version. You didn't let me down. P.S. - you are one snappy dish !
If I was EVER going to do this I waited too long. Too many parts to move in too many ways too fast............but great job by this young lady. Thanks
Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I thought of Charlie Chaplin many times, watching your dancing. The music and the dance are from a time everybody was very naive (perhaps happier) and they didn't have rap or funk. Wish I had lived around that time. And... yes! You are VERY beautiful. Keep the rhythm!
Well I can watch this young lady dance over and over and over (and did), Recently lost my lower left leg to diabetes and a hard head. Getting a prosthetic leg soon. A friend sent me this for inspiration and to cheer me up. Ha Ha! Nobody else can dance that good! And it did cheer me up.
this is so great! i love it, 'tis a pity you're wearing black trousers against a black background though. makes it tought to really see it all. my partner and i have danced lindy hop and charleston and we've decided we should learn the collegiate shag as well, only there are no courses here in stockholm, so youtube is a great asset!
I think you look your best when you get your arms into it, it makes a big difference. I personally know how easy it is to just leave your arms limp and forget about them when dancing, but you look SOOOO amazing when you respond to the music with you arms too.
Thanks so much, it IS pretty hard to remember my arms. Especially since these were the first few times I was experimenting with this and also not just doing it for myself in terms of fancy footwork.
I really appreciate your constructive critisism though. I am currently hatching new dance video plans that involve more arm movement.
YOu should try this on roller skates lol

well, I am impressed at the way you dance. This style is a lost art which you perform beautifully.

This is in my favourites and it cheers me up no end every time I see it.
Looks a bit like Northern Soul dancing so I've tried playing a few tracks over it but haven't found a match yet.
Keep it up Ms Skidoo, it's a ten from me!
