  • I am the same and only steroids worked but had side effects. I am now a natural covert and after using Mama Nature's ProSkin Eczema I won't use a drugstore cream again. I got this shipped from the UK and I am oh so glad I did. No more eczema patches all over my body (just a few patches left).

  • i have eczema and have tried every steroid based cream/ointment none have worked except one but eventually it seemed to not work anymore .one thing that does help when it starts to itch is bathing or rubbing sea salt on wherever i.e legs arms. and letting it sit there it seemed to help me . also for makeup tart is the absolutely only thing i have tried that doesn't make me break out so i'm excited for that. but i have yet to win my battle if anyone has tips tell me!

  • dontdropthatshit has great advice and transformation videos check that out.

  • It doesn't necessarily subside at 25. I know from experience. Various factors can keep it flaring up for many years past that age. Working in the cold sans gloves, eating too much of any tomato product (and I love catchup), and various other things can cause breakouts.

Since using Aveeno (I just use the regular original version), I've not had a serious issue with my eczema since.

  • The only thing that works is not scratching it.

  • ur cute, nd thanks fer taking time to inform others ;)ur a careing person ;P keep it up.

  • aveeno makes my skin worse

  • I'm 27 and never knew I had eczema before. I got this cheap suit they gave me for work and I start getting reactions from it (it's polyester and wool), believe it or not I work security for a very high end company under the Gucci group and they gave me this cheap suit. Anyways, it got really bad and when I met up with my mother recently she told me I had ezcema as a kid. So the point is I'm 27 past 25... and holloween costumes, usually cheap polyester, be optomistic, but still a realist.

  • I have had exzema scince i was a baby im now 14 and it has got worse it did mostly go when i was 13 but then in the summer i sweated more and creeps of it came back i scrated it in my sleep then spreading even bigger then before now i have it on my arms face and hand just have to keep going and try to fund some thing to cure it it can be cured it did to me once

  • I've had family members with eczema, and it is a mother fucker. No Aveeno or moisturizers will "cure" it.

  • I just got it on the inside of my elbows

  • @webkinzlover4100 thats how it starts out so make sure u get rid of it as fast as u can or ur stuck forever!

  • if anyone just GOT eczema watch my channel video! I cured myself. You can too!

  • yup youre right im 25yrs old..and my eczema is coming out all over my body..it sucks.. damn.

  • Im one whos alergic to anything on this plannet, from trees, grass to perfume and dust! Argh

I have to be careful with everywhere i go

    Try these creams out

I may start a channel on my eczema experience

Aveeno did a good job with temporarily calming my skin and softening it for me

  • @Eczema sufferers

I was born with horible eczema and usually it will go with time but seriously who wants to wait right? I used 'egyption magic' and my lord my eczema has like GONE!

Also has anyone tried the vaseline lotion? Its fantastic i swear by it! I used it on my arm (worst eczema belongs there) and the next morning it was literally gone, no dryness no redness and no irritation, by the 3rd time using it my actual skin started clearing and small marks had gone aswell

    And im one whos ale

  • thnks for this and surporting eczema i hate having it and i've gone to doctors and they havent gone away!! i hate it soo much

  • thanks for the info! and you are really beautiful! :)

  • No offense to your video but going through a series of internal cleanses is what really gets rid of eczema. You should do a colon cleanse followed by a liver cleanse with each one done for at least a week. Eczema is nothing but a bunch of clogged up toxins that haven't been released from your body so instead they expose through the skin. It takes a lot of discipline to do this but if anyone wants to really get rid of it this is what you do. Hope this helps!

  • I was born with ezaceama, i had it for all my life but lucky it is on my stomach, next to my arm pit ( weird right) and on my thighs. So im able to cover it up whit any clothhing. But i still hate it

  • i hate how skincare is so difficult for girls with eczema!! i can't get that clear skin that other girls have

  • @richarldluva124 it's just as bad with guys too!!!!!! i'm sure! :)

  • aveeno whipped souffle works wonders for my eczema

  • have you tried paula's choice products? she has a starter system for body eczema. her products are good. i use them.

  • IT ALSO HAS TO DO WITH THE FOODS YOU ALSO EAT AND ALSO DRINK, I HAD IT IN MY TEENS

  • isnt eczema the worst..i hate it...its ruining my life..i look like hitler..with scarring above my lips

  • i have eczema too. hv you tested for food allergies? or any other allergies. maybe the eczema is caused by some allergies. i hv severe dust and pet dander allergies. so there's dust everywhere so i get flare ups often. I also hv protopic from the dermatologist. i do not like it though because the side effect is the burning feeling.

  • @sj1605 I heard protopic can lead to lymphoma. I have swollen lymph nodes on my neck and groin and inner thigh. I'm going to get a biopsy done to see if it's lymphoma. I have severe eczema..

  • ATTENTION: eczema sufferers

we all have to shower. The problem may stem from the water. With that being said, you might want to look into info on your regional water supply. Chances are, you live in an area wear the water is harder. Hard water is known to have devastating effects for those with eczema. From there, my only real recommendation would be to look in to a water softening system for your house (it's expensive) or a shower head filter for like $40. I really hope this helps!!!

  • i have eczema. i've had it ever since i was born. i hate it so much.

  • i have eczema and ive been using dermaveen its quite good but it doesnt away my scars from my eczema :(

  • wat the difference between eczema and seborhea dermatitis?

  • dude im 12 and i have it too!

  • @xoxocookieloveiii ive had it since i was 3, man

then when i was 7 and moved to Las Vegas (used to live in New York) i thot it was gone, but when i started going to Texas for college it came back!!

i hate having to take care of it. im really bad with taking care of myself, tooo.:(

  • where is your eczema?

  • yur already cute bebe :) yu dont need cremas ha :)

    get at me :)

  • is there no other way to get rid of it besides applying greasy creams that stink? nothing at all worked for mine and a lot of $ went down the drain. mine itches all the time and at night i lose sleep. my skin doesnt have a rash everywhere but it still itches

  • When i was a kid i had eczema really bad on my feet, i would scratch them till they bled. I remember using the oatmeal bath treatment and it cleared up so fast it was amazing, and have used it just recently as well and it worked very well. Aveeno sells this stuff, they are packets of oatmeal that you put into the bath, nice for sensative skin as well.

  • Thumbs up if you HATE eczema with a passion and think this lady is gorgeous

  • For someone with eczema sunscreen is my friend and I use medication from my doctor

  • hey i know something that may help that i have been taking and it has helped me, FLAXSEED OIL, look it up, research!

  • eucerin works great also

  • My daughter has had eczema since birth :o( it goes through phases of good & bad stages, all over parts of the body & face (head to foot) and has never gone away... Infact this year 2010 has been the worst for her at age 18 to the point it has been life threatening, progressing to erythroderma type conditions. We have been trying Aveeno since March, and it apparently really stings when she puts it on, but it does help a bit! She's on cyclosporin, but it's still quite bad!

  • Your cuteness got in the way of me understanding what your saying =)

  • try a 1 hour soak in the sea if not too cold. Sea has to be clean an unpolluted. I've tried almost eveything else too.

these days it's just a difficult to find a clean warm sea to dip and soak in.

  • ive had eczema my whole life, im 18 years old now. i usually get it around my neck, arms, sometimes around my face and on the top of my head. the lotion i used that my doctor prescribed me is called elecon. it works very well but it is pretty damn expensive because i have no insurance. anyone have any suggestions besides aveeno?

  • I get Eczema around my eyes , and i hve some on my neck , and on my rist , but i started using Aveeno , and i got great results now my skin is almost perfect :D and i am happy with Aveeno , it is my favorite lotion

  • helloi! lyssn2me you are great! aveeno hasn't really helped me BUT! i love their daily brightening scrub.

  • hi gorgeous ^^ do u hve a boyfriend?

  • use baby oil , moisturizes great and gets rid of excess skin

  • DONT WORK BABE

  • I am trying a gluten free, lactose free diet. I HOPE TO GOD I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY

  • you should also use cortizone 10 for about 3-5 days and the crazy redness and flacking of the skin will go down. For skin roughness you can use NIVEA BODY with sea minerals, vitamin E & Almond Oil it realy works for me.

  • i just found out i have eczema and i just found your channel im going to have to try the aveeno

  • omg i get it on my arms and around my neck also what i hate the most is on my face and I get it around my eyes and I get sad because all that stuff on my face makes me cry because I feel and look ugly :/ but I use aveeno and that works so good for me but I switch the types of aveeno sometimes

  • try having eczema since birth -.-" T-T

  • @jerrieMar I'm 24 and i was born with eczema as well, its in the family. I feel you're pain!

  • I love how you're honest about eczema (crusty, itchy, horrible!), because you're raising awareness about something that affects so many people! My sister has eczema. Right now she's using eucerin cream, bigelow's rose salve, and vaseline, I think. She has to apply it like, every few minutes. Her eczema is really bad, and I'm definitely going to show her this video, cause I'm sure she'll feel better that she's not alone in this crisis! Thank you!

  • Im going to kill myself im done with eczema....

  • Just throwing this out there; I use Neutrogena Dermatological Cream Norwegian Formula works well for me.

  • With a the proper nutrients you can maintain your bodies natural functions. There might not be a cure but having the proper nutrient supplement can make a big difference. I have helped many people with eczema. Take the time and visit my site and watch the "Solutions video"

  • i found this mark and help my realy......i have nothing in my heand but still have in my foot and nothing help yet..

  • I have eczema as well. My eczema can either be just dry spots, or it can be red, itchy areas. For those dry spots, I can use just aveeno lotion. Remember to always use a hypoallergenic type. Meaning lotion that does contain any scented ingredients or even any extra natural ingredients. When I have those days where my skin it extremely red, and itchy I feel it is necessary to use a doctor prescribed steroidal cream. The steroids in my cream quickly help the redness go down.

  • @layahxo

I mean DOES NOT contain any scented ingredients.

  • I have been fighting atopic dermatitisfor about 7 years now. I have not been able to solve it with anything I use on my skin. soo I started to use immuno supressants so everything has cleared and im ok now im using sandimmune I hope it keeps me this way forever. im 24 btw.

  • I have had fucking eczema since i was like 6 and now I have it on my eyelids. It hurts to fucking blink!!! I'm pissed.

  • do you know if tattoos will cover it up or will the tattoo look nasty? btw, you are pretty cute

  • oh man is that true!! i feel like my eczema really went crazy my senior yr of college.. and i just turned 24.. so i'm hoping (if what u say is true) that next year will be better! haha loving your videos so farrr, thanks!!

  • Aveeno does not work for me. The Biotin supplement with the vitamin Eand C pill however works. Thats for ppl with extreme cases like me. Im glad I see others with the same problem. I guess we all hide under long sleeves and jeans. easy to spot on a sunny day but at the same hard to find someone who relates. Thanks to everyone who posted. I dont feel so alone lol -)

  • heya can you please let people know that they can look at my channel for really good tips on how to cure eczema? Thanks

  • you havent read all those unpronouncable ingredients in that TOXIC cream have you? if you cant eat it, dont put it on your skin. anyone with eczema is already too toxic on the inside & you have to fix that, insteading of constantly supressing the symtoms with this rubbish

  • Try manuka honey (UMF 15 or higher)!!! Study also shows that honey mixed with cinnamin can naturally treat diseaes (eg. heart disease, arthritis, even eczema). I recommend products that contain manuka honey. It can either ingested or applied topically. A UMF rating of 15+ have high therapeutic levels. Aveeno is a great moistorizing for sensitive skin. But I personally recommend Cetaphil because it is more effective and leaves my skin feeling smoother.

  • i have eczema and nothing works sorry iv tried it all :(

  • @breannathebanana1 There was recent news (in the past yr) about a successful study with bleach baths (pls research the dilution proportions). It was done on children, and was 70% successful. You can google it. I took my first bath today, I hope it works. My eczema is mild but it's in many places. Anyways, I'm hoping this works. Seems like a good thing amongst all the research I've done.

  • thanks i'll have 2 try that

  • @breannathebanana1 Have you tried Elocom? My doctor prescribed it to me and it works wonders!

  • @breannathebanana1 there tablets u can go on its cleared mine in 3 days there not perm but stil

  • @RileyAndNia whats it called?

  • @breannathebanana1 Try cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil, it looks like wax but it just melts like ice when it touches your skin and gives your skin the oil it needs, pretty soothing. u can get it at whole foods or walgreens, gives me relief and its light doesnt give u that yucky irritating feeling of creams lotions and ointments, its 100%natural u can feel the difference opposed to chemicals in these products we use

  • @breannathebanana1 I can recommend as a final try to visit the newgenn.co.uk

, they have products about eczema which are not moisturiser but actually foam. it s up to you if you want to give a go.

  • @breannathebanana1 try drinking goats milk a small amount a day It worked 4 me just b patient I laughed when someone told me but ye it worked 4 me

  • I hate ezcema..the irritation and itching-had since 2003 and it's a hassle for everyone with it I know.

  • I hav it too... It's so damn itchy and irritating!!!

  • I have eczema too :( Im only 12 years old and I also reccomend Cera Ve , its reallly nice :)

    I HATE having exzema

  • @PeppermintPatti24 hey im 11 i hav eczema to i hav it all my life u should try this cream called cucumber cream it reduces the bumps and stuff for it helps alot visit my channel to tell me if it works plez reply soon

  • @PeppermintPatti24 WOW! MEE TOOO! I ALSO USE CERA VE IT REALLY HELPS!

  • BULLSHIT!

I've been living all my life with eczema and I can barely say it:

THERE IS NO REMEDY TO THIS!!

Don't listen to her! You will just get more disapointed!

  • RE: cepomwa

you know i actually have the same thought,

but i dont wanna give up and I WONT!!:(

  • cepomwa : She never says theres a remedy. That isnt even what her channel is about at all.

  • Agree. I've had it all my life too and still in pain at 27. My hands are especially bad, for which I've just started taking the oral drug named 'Toctino', which has it's fair share of side-effects but beggars can't be choosers.

  • hi there! I'm just curious where i could buy Aveeno? I live in the Philippines and I can't find Aveeno products in any Supermarkets and drugstores. Hope you could help me. THANKS :))) BTW, eczema sucks!

  • pls! reply ASAP! thanks. :DD

  • my fave though was 100% pure apricot oil , and the best part was i could put it on my face and eyelids (if you read the back it has usage as a topical oil or culinary lol ) so its super safe and it really did the trick

    vitamin e also works well

there are tons and tons of others i havent tried though as these worked for me google it and try some they work better then anything else ive tried! ( go to any natural health food store)

    xo good luck !

  • also i avoid products that have ingredients like dimethicone, dioxide, sulfates , parabens and anything petroleum based wont allow your skin to "breathe"

ps look up some of those ingredients its sort of scary

anyways things that work really well for me and i rarely have flare ups now are:

evening primrose oil( orally ) it helps balance the oils in your body

100% pure aloe vera as my moisturizer ( it also soothes eczema if you have a flare up )

100% neem oil or cream , but it does smell

  • hi !

i had really bad eczema for a few years and finally got so fed up i tried the "crazy natural remedies"

    and they totally worked !!!

no joke i had it so bad it would bleed , on my foot , hands , neck , face even my eyelids !!!

i changed to all natural stuff from the health store and the results were fabulous!

for me when i cut out anything with frangrance in my soaps and lotions it really helped

  • i live in fucking WA so its always wet and cold so maybe thats y i started getting this crap that might be eczima 3 days ago

  • wheres the eczema?

  • Hydrocortisone, Aveeno Products,Oatmeal baths, Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Cream (very similar to Elidel), Aloe Vera, Bubble Baths, Lubriderm Products, Dove Products, Exercise, Vitamin B, Rx Acne medicines. These have all helped over 25 years of dealing with excema. Certain products reduce the itching, while others heal your skin. Most do one or the other, not both at the same time, which sucks! Anyway good luck!

  • has anybody tried lidex? its like hydro cortisone but its 10x better but it's only a prescription medicine in the U.S BUT it is an over-the-counter medicine in other countries such as the Philippines. So if you know anyone who lives where their is OTC medicine in other countries then you should try.

  • i have. they gave it to me when i had a reeaally bad flare-up recently. it seemed to work, but the prob is it's a steroid and they give you 1 tubem and once it's gone, they don't really wanna prescribe more

  • oh god this is the first time im hearing bout the eczema subsiding after 25, i hope it does so much, eczema is just taking over my whole body so badly

  • i get ezcma all around my eyes!

red itchy ...sometimes so bad i wotn go to skool! :(

  • same here. i missed alot of school and it is my senior year...just cause of this stupid condition

  • me too :( i hate it

  • hydromol for the facial ezcema works a treat..i use it get it really bad on my upper lip..the formula is mega greasy and thick but smells lovely! i love the feel of it on my skin and u can feel a difference after one use! mine was doctor perscribed but i live in the uk..unsure if its available in the us and might be pricey if bought urself....but trust me its fab (well for me anyway!) :D x

  • I have really really bad eczema and I find using origin's hand cream really really good and QV for the body. However, I still haven't managed to find a cream that would work for the neck and face :(

  • In my opinion, Eucerin is the best mosterizing creme during the day and Elidel and triamcinolone cream heal the flare ups in like 2 DAYS ! those are my go-to creams for my eczema. =]

  • eucerinis good but idk y, i just hate the feelig of it on my skin. maybe its cause i have severe eczema

  • wow your skin looks great! I have very mild eczema barely get it and when i do it is usually just on my arms

  • I got Eczema about a month ago and I know Dairy caused it with all the mucus that was building up in my body. i stopped eating dairy and most processed foods and it is now going way and never itches anymore. I also use the aloe vera plant to help

  • aloe vera juice is a god send for a lot of probs. we should make a habit of drinkin it, and right about now i will try anything cause i am having a major shitty breakout

  • @gabgirl92 Yes Aloe Vera is a god send. It is a very good thing to have. Aloe Vera has many different vitamins in it and is great for the immune system. Hey try drinking Aloe vera everyday. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and try applying Olive Oil to your skin.

  • elocon is the best hands down

  • I have eczema, its a terrible affliction.

  • are you filipino?

  • Hey! I've had Eczema since I was 2 & I am 24 now. I've suffered from it alot. I also just started wearing alittle bit of makeup since I heard of Physicians Formula and it works really well. I dont brake out at all. I also use Aveeno body wash and the bar soap for my face. It works well. I have eczema really bad on my hands to the point where they blister up! Its horrible!!!!! But I get through it. Please feel free to message me. =) take care and I will try that cream! I never tried that one.

  • not fair...girls get to use makeup to cover up redness...

  • sometimes makeup wont work..

  • Wow I will look for aveeno in my house right now

  • I have eczema on my hands, fingers, legs and arms but mostly on my hands. I'm currently using elocon and maybe I'll try the Aveeno cream :) BTW you kinda sound like Vanessa Hudgens ur voice :)

  • i went to a nutrition doctor a few years ago and had tests done. i was young and struggled to stay on the diet but now i have gotten back into it and its showing great results. i feel like cream is just addressing the symptoms and not the disease. food food food is the issue for me and maybe others as well. great vid and topic.

  • hiiiii. i have had eczema my hole life. i can relate to the social and physical problems. what i have discovered is that it is a food allergy for me. mainly gluten and artificial flavoring/preservatives. i did a water fast for four days. bye bye eczema. food allergy test would be great for all with eczema. let me know if anyone else has tried this.

  • Just wanted to say thank you for posting stuff on eczema. I know its tough to talk about and not fun to deal wit publicly. Its really appreciated.

  • damn i got eczema last week for the first time... ow... or at least thats what a nurse said it was... my sister had it, and i guess its hereditary... and the worst part is that im in the military

  • i had/have exzema when i was 11months till about 15/16 years old. i used a sterpid cream called diprozone!!! AMAZING. my exzema dissapeard but be carefull because its steroid and will leave scars.. i actually mix it with Aqueous cream. please try it xxx good luck all

  • sry to say f it dint go away when you were around 1 year old, than its for life and if i were you, i would use Shea Butter ,The Goldish yellow one. that is the best for rash, burns, bumps, whatever u have. those name products u use are JUNK. you must know this. be well and I hope all goes well

  • if i have excemia behind my ears which now is spreading in my ear canal. how will I be able to treat that, and if I don't will it cause me to go deaf if it reaches my ear drum.

  • omg so glad iam not alone i just started high school and this summer boom my face is puffy i really hope ur tips will work :(

eczema really never came back till this summer is there something different this summer?? D:

  • Is this Aveeno lotion still working for you? Trying to find something for my daughter... I always feel so bad whenever I see the flare up on her =(

    Thanks for the review though.

  • these vidsc/comments help so much! i just moved to vegas n have been super stressed, n now that schools startin on monday i feel like its gonna get even worse!

any suggestions on controlling flare ups, especially on the face and back of the neck?

  • dude same here! at least i kno im not alone

  • Cut out cows milk and anything which contains traces of cows milk for about a month and you should notice some difference. A lot of people have cows milk allergy.

  • I ues this ointment called Triamcinolone Acetoide Ointment usp,0.1 % and Ammonium Lactate Lotion 12% that I my dermatologist gave me thay are both Rx only and it works for me + i use Aveeno

  • I have eczema and I only apply lotion that many times when I was young and didn't know any better so I kept on scratching. if your eczema is serious I suggest you get elide (prescription) if not then go out to your local drug store and get Aveeno !% hyrocortisone anti-itch cream. Constantly apply it if it starts to get itchy

this way you won't be tempted to scratch when there is the product on the area.

  • thanks for having these videos. I have eczema too! I did have a really bad flareup a while back, and it was really difficult for me to go to school with my face, neck and arms having some ezcema scaly patches and I tried looking down on the floor as much as possible.

do you have any advice for extremely chapped lips where the corners of the lip cracks and bleed? I've tried many chapsticks to help it, but they don't work. Any advice?

  • i know what you mean. my senior year i found out i have eczema, i spent most of the days ditching class because i would have a flare out

  • i started a few weeks ago and im going to high school.

i heard eczema is caused by an immune response due to allergies or asthma, but i never have allergies and havent had asthma.

  • Aveeno worked for me better then the doctor's prescription! I love that stuff.

  • i have eczema and i have tried aveeno but it doesnt work for me =(

  • ANY 1 Help! I had eczema in between my top lip and under my nose. Now it seems to have gone but i am left with some dark scars. Can anyone let me know how i can get rid of this? I would really appreciate it!

  • i heard bio oil works on scars ?

  • start using coconut oil and apple cider vinegar. sun exposure helps too

  • Comment removed

  • diprobase :) thats AMAZING

    dermol 500 is awesome too

  • LOLL i have eczema :'[

    its so scratchy D:

  • WOW no kidding i thought what was on back of my neck was a heat rash lol. I have been stressing pretty bad and my face is looking crazy. I used to have oily skin and so i never saw that i had eczama but now i have dry skin and its poppin out all over my face. whats crazy is that it got worse when i started using oil free lotion sunscreen by aveeno

  • thanks for that! it looks like its worth a shot at least ;]

  • i so need tips and help i am sitting in bandages just now :(

  • use pure shea butter from the health food store. i use it on my sons

  • I feel your pain, i will have to try this. i have sebborheic dermatitis triggered by milk (which is in like everything) and things that work for eczema usually help with what i've got. aloe used topically help me alot, as well as uvb (laying out in the sun for 10-12 min), and taking a good (and i emphasize good) multivitamin has helped immensley.
