  • you can tell he means it

  • the crowd is so respectful. ive seen so many Fallon shows that have retards yappin in the back. so props to NYC, the level of mutual respect between fans and Fallon is almost tangible.

    GLA baby.

  • Thank you for posting... Brialliant!!!!

  • Great vid. Fallon is awesome! Thanks for the upload! Cheers.

  • old white lincoln has a totally diff feel to it acoustic...and i like it!!!haha brian is amazing and gaslight is amazing.

  • @heirons4 wrong. Drive and Old White Lincoln are the same chords but here's looking at you kid is in B while the other two are in Am

  • @SuperBrickDude same chords, just different tuning.

  • Made account just so I could poston this vid. Brian is so dynamic that it blows my mind. You can FEEL his songs, just like Bruce. If there was a line to blow Brian Fallon, I would be first. Keep doing big things guy.

  • i see johnny cash too.

hard to tell if it's brian fallon or not

    although he's good, no doubt

  • to blow fallon? wait a second.... what? Lol! Hes good but not that good.

  • i love his passion.... something so hard to find in these days.

  • I was at this concert - it was great.

  • haha yes im glad someone else finally noticed...he does this in more than just the acoustic songs....but the VII IV I V chord progression is just so good...

  • i think you mean VI IV I V not VII for the first chord. Brian is good but i dont think he uses to many dim chords haha

  • haha this is definitely true my bad on the typo...

  • has anyone noticed how in so many of his acoustic songs he uses Am, F, C, G... but yet, each song sounds different and all sound amazing?

  • hahah yep it's so good

  • yeah!

the ones that come to mind that use that at some point are:

59 sound, great expectations, old white lincoln, drive, heres lookin at you kid, 1930. i think there a few more. anyway, its amazing that none of them sound the same

  • @riseagan So true. I could name almost a dozen used the same chord progression just with a different strumming pattern or capo (my favourite being Here's Looking At You, Kid), but they all sound different and absolutely perfect.

I love Brian Fallon. No homo.

  • unbeliveble good stuff.......

    this guy is still amazing

  • i love how he's walking around, even in an acoustic (down tempo performance) he's still got the energy?

  • Sweet right? Brian is an amazing artist on so many levels.

  • love it i wish i could see one of his solo shows! thank you for posting these acoustic shows listening to them all the time

  • You are very welcome. I'm glad I recorded these, people are so appreciative. Acoustic is fantastic. Stay well.

  • Incredible!

  • Wow, this is the most unbelievable two-for that i've ever seen. He is SICK!!!

  • I was listening to this without reading the description, thought he was covering Philadelphia until the lyrics kicked in.

  • great slowed version of great expectations

  • thanks for the upload, i wanna hear it all!!!

If you have the rest it would be greatly appreciated if you could put it up.

    Cheers

  • I don't. From this show the two videos I have posted are the only two I got. So hard to video and sing/dance at the same time. I did get 3 or 4 videos from the show he did in Cambridge,MA. Just as amazing as these- I'll post those when I get a moment. Peace, Cheers, Live it. And thank you.

  • Please say you got the cover of "Don't Think Twice Its Alright"

That was probably one of the best things I've ever heard.

  • Sounding Beautiful... and don't give up on the vans, Brian. I just save mine for summertime.

  • Unreal. I discovered this band this summer and haven't stopped listening to them. Such a great band and Brian is such an awesome songwriter. Great video by the way, thanks for sharing.

  • I'm very proud to say that I was the lunatic who yelled out at the 8:25 mark "Gaslight Anthem, best band in 20 fucking years!!"

But I absolutely believe that so I'm also proud. :)

  • Was @ the show. Great concert!!!
