Is that a quote from the log lady intros? I like the idea of reworking a Lynch piece (even though it's not the point), given that he's been fairly radical in his use of sound and visuals and to further alienate both of those aspects is neat.
yeah of course its the log lady. i have more things to say in response but i'll just insert it into the message back about the shaggs (ill-fitting analogy), and stuff, etc. i dont like providing contextualizing information about myself because it might limit a person's enjoyment of my work. hahahah maybe not, but you see what i'm trying to still explain.
Yeah I get what you're saying, it's like [ill-fitting off base analogy, weighty misconceptions requiring extensive yet seemingly unfruitful explanation]. =] I do think it's amusing that you're avoiding contextualizing your work to avoid hindering enjoyment when usually the opposite is the case, but despite the piss take I do understand (this time).
although i invented that on the spot, really, its more informative/amusing what people think they see in my videos when there are no contexts. i think personality is a huge context for comprehension on utube. some ppl think my videos have something to do with being high or taking drugs. if i had vlogs that depicted my 'personality' there'd be a lot less indeterminacy. incidentally i hate weed.
I know what you mean, that's why I asked you what you thought I studied instead of telling you. Your videos are about being high because being high is about altering perception and you consistently alter the way things are seen and heard. You are the methadone clinic of youtube.
