i got about the same exploding glop out of a tube in the microwave, hoping for something fun to watch, totally unusable, the exilims need lots of light, as you have mentioned before, for hi speed vids, which you do so well.
The flames were pretty dim, so if I filmed it in bright light, I don't think you'd see anything, maybe some vapor clouds. I figured it would be better to see some grainy looking stuff than nothing. Fireworks at night show up pretty well at slower FPS speeds.
It retails for $1000, can be found cheaper (ask ryukenosuke--- he got his for quite a bit less and came with extra goodies) The camera does everything though, from HD video to highspeed to taking great still photos.
what kind of fuel do you use?

Do it with a 5 gallon jug. I tried it with a 55 gallon drum. It sounds like a wheezing cow.

what cam are you using
rcanton1l1 2 years ago
A Casio EX F1 Pro. VIdeo usually comes out much better than this when used in proper lighting.

Great video, as usual. Also, I didn't know you could speak in German. That's awesome. ( :

I speak fluent Babblefish... lol. I took German in school but retained little of it.
Thanks!!!
