There is so much corruption now, not just in America, but worldwide. I really don't see a way out of this now. The whole system will just have to take its natural course and ultimately collapse in on itself. It will be like another dark age, and there will be many casualties in a process that will be long and painful. A lot can be predicted by looking at the Roman Empire from an economic standpoint. The corruption is merely a symptom, and the oligarchy will eventually lose control.

Compare it to Europe where they have proportional representation. In systems of proportional representation, you have multiple parties.
