@Luigiplushfan I would spend those extra buck$ and get the 27 as I use mine for watching movies and photos. My next iMac will be that of the larger screen. Apart from that it's been a damn fantastic computer:-)

@pman590 Well I can't remember anymore but I did put a disc in to do something but I know for sure it was so damn simple to set up about 10 minutes I think. Re-boot what's that? LOL this is not windows you know:-) Ps had this for over a year and never had to restart or never had a problem in the slightest :-))))))

@gtofreak16 Question is "do you want to transport it and use it while on the go?" For me bigger screen is nicer for the eyes! I had a laptop and only used it once while on the go so it's not worth it for me. Could get the iMac and the iPad and your two worlds are sorted but that comes with a price or just beg your parents lol

@riccardofiorilla Just checkout the apple website for prices will be the same I would think. The screen reflections will not be an issue I use it to watch movies from a distance and just have a desk light next to the screen on and it's fantastic. 

@hellob0x Yeah I'm the same after getting my 3Gs I was just hooked for apple. My last buy was their router AirPort extreme and it's another fine apple product! iPad could be my next buy but will wait for the new O.S. 4 as multitasking is all I'm missing. Now enjoy that excitment too :-)

@1aliengin1 imac is the best gaming expierience in mac but the truth is mac is not supported 5 star for games. what i meant is it is not good for playing games it is good only on apps which does not use alot of memory of the cpu. like garageband, itunes, safari, etc

@soberdrunk78 Thanks for your comment :-) check out my iMac review after 3 weeks video! The 27" is bigger than my house so I settled for the 21.5" Which ever one you choose you will not regret it! A few of my friends now use iMac and just use the pc for gaming only.

@Slayer; Why did I get the iMac over Book? #1 How often do you transport a laptop outside? For maybe twice a year? #2 The iMac takes less space on the desk. #3 The 21.5" screen is HD and big enough to become a second TV #4 Bluetooth keyboard&mouse. #5 cheaper. The Macbook is fantastic but is wasted if you don't transport it. The iMac is easy to transport room to room only a power cable to unplug! For me, bigger screen for everyday is a BIG plus. No regrets with my iMac:-))))

Should I go with the 21.5 inch or the 27?

I'm using a relatively small screen now. I went to the Apple store and the 27 seemed too huge, almost like a TV! But most people swear its the best. What's your opinion? Is bigger really better?

I can't say what to buy that's down to what your needs. I can only say what I've read and what my opinions are. Ask yourself what you need the iMac mainly for? The 27.5" has better specs, faster, screen can outperform anything on the market and speakers are louder. With the 27.5" screen it will become a second TV (is that a bad thing) and if you like making movies than it will run better. My needs are not so high so the 21.5" specs are more than perfect and transporting room to room is easy.

I have heard this problem about a high frequency noise and I can only say that my iMac has no such problem. I have looked into this and it's probably only needs a software update. I have had a recent update and maybe the solution was there??????

I just bought the base model for $1099 with the educational discount. Awesome deal for the best desktop on the market. In fact, if it had a means of folding in half you could use it as a portable.

Now the new iMac just needs the power cable and rest is Bluetooth, how easy is that to move around. P.s. Are you into Ferrari's or is that your real name?

Very easy to transfer data and especially photos to the iMac. After a day your become more familiar with macs OS. Don't think windows anymore think what would you put where and if by magic your find it. Think easy is what I do:-) Have you a iPhone? Checkout my review after 3weeks and see just a few of my thoughts. P.s. I wouldn't say lower end as all of Apple computers are sublime some have more just to suit greater needs. You will never want to go back windows really really!

Thanks for your comment. You will have no regrets getting very bad boy indeed. So simple to use and very quick to. This is my first Mac and I just think back to the days of using windows, windows is so retarded and so needy all the time. Your gonna be giddy for weeks and don't forget to sleep :-) Enjoy that giddiness :-)
