i just want to comment on the note about your nail polishes in the video...........i'm considering not getting acrylics anymore also due to too many bad and painful experiences at diff nail salons and the nail techs wanting to do my nails the way they want instead of what i ask...........so how do you care for your nails now, what did you use to strengthen them back then (this is an old vid) and whats your fav top coat, polish brand etc.
Beautiful. This is perfect because you have your own little space, and it's fair to the boyfriend because he doesn't have to be consumed with girly stuff in his bedroom. I think it's a great idea and you have great style! It's not cluttered. Nice, clean, organized and bright.
I do like the idea...i was going to do that when I was going to move into a 3 bedroom house...the bedrooms were extremely small..closets were smaller...but I ended up not getting it :~(....funny thing...my husband, my lil girl, n I moved into a 2 bedroom duplex...and the closet space is hella small..lol...i have a lot of stuff and my husband dont...im like..taking up all the space..i would still love to do that...but until then....ill still use some of ur ideas....sorry if the post is so long..

I got the "boutique-style" set-up from browsing many different high-end boutiques in Chicago which reminded me of closets. When I saw that Teresa had done it, I decided to give it a try myself - even though I think her's was more of a storage/makeup room. I wanted mine to have seating w/ less clutter. I used to have a pretty large walk-in closet if you check my older videos.
I enjoyed every minute of this vid :-) I used to be soooo organized and neat (years ago). I did just hang all of my belts up and made one of my drawers into a jewelry storage space. If I keep working at it hopefully I'll have things organized by Christmas. Maybe lol.

Definitely going to add those clothing rack shelves from Home Depot to "my side" of my bedroom. I've been living out of boxes for over a year now because the closet space in our apartment is nearly non-existent. I knew that's what I wanted, but now that I've seen it, I know it will work. I love being able to see all my clothes right now in the open, so that I can make use of what I have.
@unicqueky Some women have really beautiful storage spaces in their studio apartments/dorms. They take a corner or an empty wall, add a clothing rack, a couple stacked hat boxes, a vase or plant and viola. Suddenly the space becomes stylish and visually stimulating while functioning as an "open closet space." Don't get caught up on the "room" part. A closet is a storage space whether big or small :) Luv ya
