I am ready to write it here & now, to acknowledge myself. I have already been brave. I've had 66 reconstructive surgeries on my face to close it, build up the bone structure within it & the like. I was born with a rare birth defect called a Tessier Cleft. That cleft also left me blind *I use a computer with a speech program that allows me access to wonderful sites & videos like this*. Though I can't see these women, I can be touched by the words in the song & I am moved to tears.
