I think the great thing about this movie was that despite all its exploitive, non-sensical elements, it actually makes a subtle statement about how rushed everyone is all the time making them unable to understand how futile all of it is... Eve is made out to be a distracted girlfriend that keeps slowing him down but really, she worth it and his fast-paced revenge wasn't.
