rev limiter "ouch". shifting at 700 rpms "ouch". you can do that if your racing, like you were but shifting at 7000rpms every time your drive your car is a good way to break your car. and with a vr4 expect to go broke repairing it.

But I have never heard that thereoy, but I guess I can see where it makes sence. Since Mitsubishi had the contract with the German company "Getrag" (the cheepest company on earth) to make our 3000gt transmissions they had a deal that the parts that would be used inside of it .....

....Wouldnt be the best of quality at all. For the longest time they would even sell interals to the 3000gt transmission. They would only sell it as a whole and since the 3000gt isnt being made anymore all the owners of them right now are stuck with Getrag's crap transmissions. but after a lawsuit was lost they were forced to sell interals. So thats where i can see the bad shifting theories. A normal problem is bad scyncros. I think mine our going out. The car is worth keeping.
