I prefer Samplitude myself although FLS is very good as well but the workflows are different .Samplitude is probably better for multitrack audio recording whereas FLS is good if your into dance music and electronica . That why rewiring them gives you the best of both worlds .

how do I get magix instrumnets to work in flstudio?

Magix instruments will only work in Samplitude sorry . Although some of the FX are available as VST plug ins separately .
