Currently, the WR taken is with a kart. Since June 14 'till now the WR was taken by a Kart. I watched the the Replay MANY times seeing that ZRoyalZ made a new strat! he did the start used to beat this WR then I heard a Reverse sign then he drifted to the end of the ramp (the left edge) and went ALL THE WAY FROM THAT EDGE TO THE BOOST BARS IN THE RINGS.

@sustarfire03 The boost he got before he jumped helped him get across without a shroom. Just go close (not too close) to the gate and chances are you will make it. Just get as much speed as possible (e.g. wheelie/mini turbo) and it's just a jump of faith. It's better if you don't use shrooms anyway, you might go too far or fall.

Why dosent his speed go very much up when he enters the "star cannon" ?

This tool shows the speed of the vehicle in "normal" conditions, it won't show 300 km/h when you're in bullet bill (I haven't tested though) or 200 km/h when you're in a cannon. it does note take account of "extra bonuses", such as KC river or TF treadmills.
