Caruso recorded Una furtiva lagrima three times - this is the last recording from 26 November 1911. The other ones were recorded in 1902 and 1904. The 1904 version is generally regarded as his best with his voice being more lyrical than later on.

But Woody Allen used the 1904 recording in Match Point, not this one.
