@pereocean, you must keep it set at f22 at all times on the D7000. To change the aperture use the front dial on the camera, don't turn the aperture ring itself. Make sure you engage the aperture lock switch after setting it to f22.

Nice comparison! However, those lenses are far apart from each other. I have to note that the `G` designation is not a high-quality indication, as it is with Minolta/Sony G (Gold) lenses, but more of a handicap since you cannot mount G lenses on manual focus camera's and have aperture control due to the removal of the aperture ring. Before 2010 when the f1.4G came out, the f2 AF-D was the best 35mm lens of Nikon. However, the f1.4G has taken over that position.

@djazaeer yah, your question to the video is just exactly the reason this video was created for - to answer questions of people whether it is justify in paying the huge premium for the better 35mm. It is not a comparison of which is better, it's too obvious, no? The whole point of the vid is to help people that are on the fence on deciding whether to pay a lot more for the better 35 or save a lot more for the f2, and not which is better djazaeer.

@JRskatr That's bokeh, the quality of out of focus parts. For example, you want the background to be blurry and not sharp, which is very important at portrait lenses.
