  • This is a very interesting build, we have changed quite a bit of methodology since 2009, here in the states we have incorporated layers of different materials into our ovens to insure even heating and longer lasting bake times and greater peak temperatures, we use a fire cob layer, insulation layers, structural layers plaster layers and paint layers.

  • Why is there two circles with one 100 mm back?

  • Great video. Where can I buy the arch and door for my cob oven? I live in Grants Pass OR, USA

    Thanks

  • Great video, how many clay cement bags did you use for your cob oven? thanks

  • Never did I think I would learn how to make a wood fired pizza cob over with Scotty (The fella mixing the clay at the beginning) whilst sitting in a bar in Germany having a beer. Enjoy the Pizza...

  • Was the sand contacting the clay a problem when you started baking? We are making a cob oven and have forgotten to put wet newspaper before putting on the clay. Thanks for your very informative video.

  • @hotaironly Hi, some people have found that sand has fallen into their food the first few times they cooked. However, I have never found it too be that bad or to last long. It isn't something I would lose any sleep over anyway. Glad the video was helpful. How did your oven go otherwise?
