Bure was damaged goods when he was traded to Florida for Jovo. Im a long time Canuck season ticket holder and Bure was at his best in his first 3 seasons. Sure he scored alot of goals even after his leg injuries but the quality of highlight reel goals were few. I seen him score goals like #5 on the list routinly.
Bure was still good even after Vancouver..i say this not because im a huge bure or canucks fan, but because its true...hes one of the best goal scorers..and it didnt even matter who his line mates were (though him and linden gelled very nicely) he would always find a way to put down highlight reel goals

Bure was an amazing player. Allot of the young hockey fans are all fired up about Ovechkin(which is understandable, he's exciting); but Bure is the mold from which Ovechkin was cast. I've never seen a player who combined that insane speed with such skill with the puck since Bure. Ovechkin included.
I disagree because Bure adapted to the new game really well. He was able to score 50 plus on a Florida team that sucked and in the trap era. Bure wasn't weak. He was a fiesty little guy. The reason why he was able to survive because he had a dirty edge like that elbow to Churla
