Sounds lame to comment on my own video, but six years later, the part at 5:03 still gives me goosebumps. Riding along at 40mph, cold desert wind blasting you in the face as the sun goes down, and with vehicles that could level a small town...it's pretty powerful.
Thanks! We did return safely. We were MPs on a USAF fighter base in Italy, so no front-line stuff, but it was nice to get do our duty, even if it wasn't artillery. I got out of the Army as soon as we got back (I'd already been extended for a year at that point), and soon afterwards the rest of the unit was reclassed from arty to combat engineer. I hear they're going downrange soon...

I'm Very happy to see them using them/us as we were meant to be and haven't been since the Mog, Panama and Grenada. Thank you for the Appreciation!! And your Very welcome!! Smoke these Towel heads!!
