Yup, I bought mine of ebay for $500/£280

- Q6600 running @ 2.93 (Overclocked.)

- 4GB DDR2 800Mhz Ram.

- 500GB HDD.

- SLI & HD Motherboard.

- 8600GT DDR3 256MB SLI x2 (Two graphics cards.)

All for £280 / $500.

I already had a 550W PSU - Case - DVD Rewriter. So basicly, all you have to do is, strip out your old machine, sell the bits on ebay, and buy only the things you need.

Then... FREE GAMES FOR EVER BABY! = Torrents. Haha. I hooked this up to my 28" HDTV.

The SLI looks fucking sexy on a 28" bro. And these cards are from 2006. Mine are only 256MB's, I'm not to picky, the only time I ever upgrade my hardware is when I'm forced to play games on Low-Medium. But with this rig, I'll be on High for another year at least. Then I guess I'll have to upgrade the graphics.

But don't forget I bought them for $30 a peice :) Just go SLI bro, it hasn't turned me down.

O and BTW, the Gaming edition of XP is pretty much Media Center 2005, but completly stripped out with all the shit that you don't need, then added all the gaming things you would need. (Even a new boot screen... Looks like the xbox 360 boot screen, but better.) It boots straght to the centre, and you select the game you have installed. They dropped it down to 193MB's. So its pure gaming power, hacked with DX10.1 etc.

(I have dual boot - So I do have an OS I use daily, XP Pro.)

Bought the XFX Geforce 9800 GX2 XXX edition graphics card, upgraded my PSU to the Ultra X3 1000-Watt psu, and went ahead and sprung for 8gigs with Corsair XMS2 Dominator memory - 1066MHz. So far everything has been running very smooth and no problems or defects to date. Thanks for all the replies and ill get another updated video out asap. =)

Good video, I like your computer setup, similar to what I am going to work on here shortly, for the difference of 2g of ram, core 2 duo 3.16 e8500, and different power supply the thermaltake 750 modular psu. -With the SP1 Patch all my programs work.

-The Quad core performs well with my multitasking, graphics designing, gaming, etc. Dual core is better for gaming but its not all I do.

-Vista is not bad and i have not had any problems yet.

-Creative is a pain in the butt to setup and configure for 7.1 surround sound.

-The Creative headset sucks, the wires tangle easy and it broke after a few months.

-I will be grabbing up a 900 series soon so we will see how that goes.

intel core2duo e8500 is the processor for intensive gaming...you can overclock it to 4ghz on basic cpu cooling alone and it outperforms on the high end quad extreme intel processors in crysis by like 5fps..and in some cases 10-20fps!!!!

aww man change your PSU rosswill is the worst of the worst PSU u can get they r cheap can shitty. I had 1 and, when i got a new 1 like the crosshair 750w it runs a lot better than my 950w Roswill.Your PSU can overload can damage a lot of your parts. I recommend u get a new 1. - Ares will mess with the system, and Nero 8 is the only thing that works with Vist 64. Other than that SP1 is out and everything seems alright.

- Hehe, yeah its a nice comp, but not as nice as some others. I plan on buying the new 9800 GX2 shortly and getting some new fans 140 rather than 120.

- Yeah, I didnt mess with any lighting, sound, etc as I did it on the fly. ^^
