Yes the Oba of Oyotunji met with and was introduced to many Oba'sfrom all around Osun state Nigeria. HRM was introduced as the proof of the continuation of Yoruba monarchy and culture in America.
Co-signing on much of what NubianGoddez has said. I feel that conscious people of African descent should make a few cultural pilgrimages in their life times. To places like, The memorial for the Great and Honorable Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., The Oyotunji village, to Haiti (in honor of the Haitian Revolution), The Organization US Center in LA. (In honor of the Great and Honorable Dr. Maulana Karenga founder of Kwanzaa/Kawaida philosophy) and of course the MotherLand to name just a few.
As an innitiate of the Orisha religion, daughter of Oshun and Chango, I have been blessed to meet many good people from the village, this village is a must visit for any concious nubian in America. the village is where Afrika come's alive and ancient tradition are honered and kept alive for children of the diasporia.
This is sooo wonderful to see him with all of the Obas all over the continent of Africa.
