  • @atihsi absolutely right

  • @atihsi hey boy respect everything u shouldnt be saying F*ck the muslims keep the religion away PEACE

  • @autumnleaves04 hey you got it wrong. I said f*ck the "Pakistani, Muslim, Indian or Western stuff" and NOT f*ck the Muslim!! I meant to say f*ck these ideologies n be neutral for music. It was not to hurt any communal feelings.

PS: I respect every religion. And m an Indian so how can I say f*ck the Indian!!

  • @atihsi ofcs everyone is neutral MUSIC has no Boundries trust me We pakistanis listen to indian music so much LUV Music <3 its always there for ya ;)

  • @autumnleaves04 Yeah! Like here in India we are mad about Pakistani Sufi singers.

  • @atihsi Music is a blessed thing, with no barriers, color, sex, religion. I wish that all the mankind could understand that.

  • @atihsi fuck u ass hole its ok fu*k pak india or western not muslims u cow piss. watch your bitch mouth nex time you speak and dont eat to much of cow shit so will talk sense

  • @homes696 Dear dick-sucker!! I guess u don't understand English beyond abusive slangs that's why u didn't understand my what my comment meant.First you learn to make some sense. Loser!!

  • @homes696 ....i'm an american girl born and raised and YOU make me ashamed...what a ignorant uneducated person you are....this is great talent...if you can out do him or Eddie, or Densmore i'd love to see your video..if not watch something that your intellect can understand like maybe 'sponge bob'.....

  • @dakota23750 What u on abt do i really care where u born and raised no and wht u talking abt dont make sense at all i have posted no comments abt the music sweety maybe being american gave u right to bully any1 but bitch this time you gt it wrong

  • @homes696.....all i said to you was there was no reason to be the way you were or disrepect anyone from any country...i told you i was in america to let you know that not all americans have a dislike for others who are not american....this music is amazing & beautiful to listen too...the singer is so incredibly talented...i have very much respect for his art..calling me sweety & bitch in the same sentence is a bit confusing..all countries should appreciate the talent of each other...

  • Wth... were these guys high ?

  • Live & let live... we as a people are for the better to experience performances such as this... 1 world, 1 planet, 1 life...

  • Man people are silly.. if you are reading this comment you obviously are listening to the song which is about "loving each other" and look at all the hateful comments.

  • boring

  • Eddie Vedder one of my favorites but look at our treasure Rahat Ali Khan here..what a voice!!!.....4 28 even Eddie's awestruck.....you guys are awesome thanks for showing there's no fuckin barrier in music at least.....

  • @rohanzepp Eddie was like, "how does he do that?" Its the bitchenest mix of music ever

  • @rohanzepp ......Eddie is my favorite singer...HOWEVER i want to say this man is absolutely amazing & i dont remember the last time i have enjoyed a video...i was sorry to see it end....peace to you....beautiful :)

  • @mafrooor UR a ASSHOLE

  • at 4:30 Eddie's got a look on his face like he's thinking: " we didn't go through this during rehearsels, wtf man...what is that tongue stuff you're doing anyway?"

  • I remember when America was known for this kind of unity.

  • seriously hindhustani sangeet singers kill western vocalists.

  • @KillinDaWelfareMCs he's Pakistani not Indian, he's also a muslim which i think in your book is a crime

  • @goonga1001 he is pakistani, but alot of his training and performance was done in Indian. For example he learned Dagar Vani drupad singing in India. Which is the basis for most classcal singing in the subcontinent.

He was a Sufi. That is different than your average sunni.

  • @KillinDaWelfareMCs AFTER READING UR CRAP the CONCLUSION is HE'S A PAKI AND A Muslim SO GO DIE BITCH

  • @munnajaptab just like a muslim...always wishing death and terror upon others.

  • @KillinDaWelfareMCs OOOOOOHHHHHHH the reply of the century

  • @KillinDaWelfareMCs what a racist pork-eater you are buddy...!

  • @shamiking1 sorry I don't discriminate on race...only discriminate against terrorists that wish death upon other people.

  • Great combination of Pakistani & American music... truly mesmerizing.

  • True.

    Superb..

  • thank you for blessing our generation with your presence, this shall not be repeated.

  • This magical experience is what Indian music is all about. If you're experienced now GIVE ME A HELL YEAH!

  • @helterskelterss How the fuck can u call a pakistani music an indian fucking music.... you indians are cheaters...... But any one here is not a fool like you... They can check the biography of Rahat fateh ali khan and they will find out that he belongs to pakistan.

  • @aamirsolo Its hard to understand your pakistani english but anyways. I'm not gonna sit here and waste my time fighting over this Ind vs Pak bull crap. Go find yourself a fuckin I hate india blog and cry over there. this is a page purely for music lovers. And u dick! Its Punjabi Urdu he's singing in.

  • @helterskelterss I didn't know of a language like "Punjabi Urdu" ever existed! :)

Well, if its Punjabi Urdu, even then it would be the Pakistani Punjabi(Provincial) and national Urdu! :)

  • @artistdigital Not true mate. None the less lets just enjoy the musical trance this gives everybody

  • @helterskelterss Was just teasing! :) Music isn't the property of anyone! It belongs to those who like it! Music is universal, specially, Sufi music!!

  • @artistdigital definately. Its the only thing that brings us together. But people like aamirsolo dont understand that

  • I love how Eddie Vedder looks at him at 4:26.

  • @tlunaray he's just trippin on the sufi music!...Love the trip eddie is on

  • @helterskelterss :) by the way its, Urdu. There is no such word as Pyar, dunya,.. in Hindi, its Prem, Pritvi etc :)

  • @artistdigital Its Punjabi Urdu as a matter of fact

  • I love Eddie Vedder and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. They are so great together.

  • dead man walking is one great film and this is one great song. there's something more precious than guarding one's pride and that's the real truth of love. to tell the story of how the love of one person can bring another person to that truth is the highest teaching.

  • @elephantinpajamas nice name .. but u are way too emotional...

  • @jhonnycash789 your comment is laconic to the point of being obscure but it seems that that's what you're aiming for

  • Just ended up with Tears of Bliss!

  • I cannot believe I have never seen this before. As a young Indian boy, having instilled into my soul by my family, the beautiful sounds of the Fateh Ali Khan's and then growing up and listening to my ultimate musical hero, Eddie Vedder, this is incredible.

I used to listen to this song when the film came out, I never realised Eddie sang with Rahat and sang in his native tongue! Thank you sbmani. Thank you so much xx

  • Awesome song/video....it's missing Nusrat though...sadly

  • you should change the title, this is "Rahat Fateh Ali Khan", Nusrat's nephew, who is an excellent singer in his own right but the title is misleading.

As I'm really in to Seattle Scene so I love Pearl Jam, where as I love 60's music, so The Doors is right there and yeah I'm from Pakistan so obviously I love Rahat! And fortunately I can understand both of the languages! Beautiful, fantastic, just epic!

  • OMFG!! both artists know virtualy nothing about each other's language, but still look the amazing chemistry between them...

  • @megatron89j

    @megatron89j

    What an ignorant comment.

Firstly, you have no idea what languages these people may or may not know.

    Secondly, music is universal.

Thirdly, South Asia was colonized by Europeans for Centuries. South Asians did assimilate such things as ENGLISH, and music during this time.

and lastly look up 'Indo-European linguistics'--it may surprise you how connected the old-world really is.

South Asia is one of the most multi-cultural regions of the world.

  • just chill bro. lets just enjoy the song. btw thx 4 d info. n I don't think I said something ignorant, I know music is universal. so just sit back, relax n enjoy.

n happy new year in advance!

  • @qwanraj ..it's URDU Qawali....Hindi is only in india and indian dont sing Qawali.

  • @PakiStar4life Yes my mistake. It is very simple the words, and here in India bollywood has messed up Urdu and Hindi so bad its hard to differentiate.

The words are urdu, but are commonly used in Hindi.

But Qawali is sung in India it is very famous, that are many qawal groups here

  • @qwanraj its urdu man

  • @qwanraj the guy is form pakistan not india

  • @DocMirza

"should get together and reclaim their once great nation"

    Agreed. I'll do my best.

  • @DocMirza It's not Punjabi. It's Urdu/Hindi.
