I find myself trying to go for stealth, or else I just go in with an MP5 or anything that is fully auto and dangerous. I never go for shotguns, and pistols I only use for a last resort. The knife, I find it hard to stab, being that they always get away before I can give a lethal blow

um.. yes the exoskeleton is better then the seva suit.. have you even played the game?

if you have an exoskeleton armor you can basically walk past medium and low damage weapons without needing to worry.. in the seva suit? you can't

Nah. The SEVA suit has insane protection against Rads, and elementals.

However, the exo is better in actual close combat. I almost never get shot though, as I usually pick them off with the SR-25, and then clean up with the Spas-12.

I stick with my SSP-888p suit or whatever. The second Ecologist suit. I have enough artifacts that my rad protection is at 100%, and bullets and rupture at 80%. Everything else is 70%+.

true, but i must admit i like it close and dirty, shotguns and heavy sidearms.. maybe a few stabs to;)

i'd recommend the summoner mod, really cool.. for 50/50 out of all the mutants you kill you can get body parts.. and you can use those to spawn the mutants.. really cool but they kill everything besides you hehe so be carefull using it;)

Find your „user.ltx" on your HDD, open it with Notepad and write or copy these three lines there:

F1, F2, F3 keys in the game will do the trick but many features of the game like night vision, flashlight and anomalies will be disabled or buggy. It is also hard to aim accurately and so the third person view is mostly for taking screenshots and making crazy videos.

Have you downloaded some mods already? If not, that's the reason why you don't have any actor.ltx at all. I would suggest downloading SpiderMod for instance from filefront. Type Spidermod 2.0 to Google and you should end on the desired page. I haven't tried it, but it should do exactly what you want. Then you can customize your ltx file to your likings.

I have also sent you the beginning of my actor.ltx file. There are jump_speed and air_control_param lines as you can see. But my actor.ltx was created by Faiakes mod, which I use with the exception of trader mod.

No, that's not true, it's a little easier in the game than in real life. The only thing you have to do is to rewrite "jump_speed" and "air_control_param" lines in "actor.ltx". It's in your ...\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\gamedata\config\crea­tures directory.
