@HRVAT1975 Unfortunately they screwed up and built the wrong turbo so they started on the 67mm today. I figure it might ship out Friday or Monday at the latest so probably the end of next week. Meanwhile I'm thinking about taking my manifold off and having it machined flat on the mating surface to the head. Tired of exhaust leaks!
Less than two weeks before this video the car sat for 12 years before I got it for $700. I was very pleased that it made the trip to the drag strip and back without breaking down. Best of 9.29 on subsequent visits. Now turbochargedand headed for 7's.
If you have the 305 tbi or tpi all you need to do is the ecu, fuel Pump and then under the hood for TBI throttle body and up, you'll need the throttle cable also since its longer on the TPI's. You need more stuff, but you can get all the info on google. Ebay the parts!
Not a bad run however my 92 RS with the 305 TBI ran an anomaly run of 9.87 @ 72 with a 2.2 60'. Usually it runs 10 flat or a 9.99 every now and again. Ive got a full exhaust, smog pump delete, K&N open element, shift kit and 3.42 posi gears. So im guessin a little more work on yours and high 8's arent gonna b out of the question. Nice run tho. Thirdgens rule!
