Just a tip. Here when we install cable through an exterior wall we leave the bit to the outside, and then we attatch the stinger (stripped back) to the bit and pull it through. that way you could hook up to your primex box, and go back inside to finish.
i really like to know how many tv you have to connect to that house cuz for all that wires is ah mess ,,i guest you are cable company ,,,cuz satellite we can do with to much less and that and we can connect up to 8 t v use DP 44multi-switch ...
I would have pushed that feed thru bushing in tight and applied silicone. Also would have made a drip loop with that line. And I agree that housebox is fugly
Hey, watched all parts, and I have to say that this is a really good step-by-step. I wished I watched this before I went through and set up my cable--would have really made things easier!
i know there are other ways to install cable .but in this system we can only use with they provide. and i also know the fcc regulations . we do not lock the house box we tie wrap it shut . i really appreciate you taking your time and watching the video i hope you liked it and thanks for your response .

Buddy, if I used some of your installation techniques, I'd be fired in no time.

I thought you supposed to bound or ground your box? That whole box is not grounded.

@madzibaba1975 Its plastic. Last time I checked NEC codes, they weren't requiring PLASTIC to be backbonded...moron.

If you use an amp with remote powering you wont have to drill through anyones house for a dedicated power line.
If you use a data amp, you wont have all of those cable bends, connectors, and jumpers. That box is a mess.
By the way, the FCC states the customer must have access to their box.
