mindless/meaningless killing that comes out of nowhere=the whole point of this game.

Its purpose isn't to provide a profound plot that will stem a huge fandom, like Final Fantasy. Its purpose is to amuse you by spreading bloodshed at random times, whether you're being attacked or not.

Now, I know it isn't for everybody (i.e. someone like you), but I personally found the game amusing--especially when my character slid in the pools of blood.

I think it's pretty fun, actually. Its simple controls and pick-up-and-play quality makes for a likeable game.

Rent this pile of shit before you buy it like I did. That's my advice to you. Yeah, I thought the concept would be cool too... it's not. The gameplay sucks, the boss mobs are stupid, it gets old in... about 3 minutes.

actually, i thought the boss fights, particularly the beaver, were quite clever and uniquely entertaining. the game is enjoyable for more than 3 minutes. hey, every gamer has his preferance. but i enjoy shooters and rpgs and am able to find enjoyment in this game too.
