@thomla7 Most Ferrari's use a key. As well as porsches etc. Most supercars/exotics/hypercars use a key of some sort still. Not all of them have you keep a piece of plastic in your pocket with a little button to push. Even with a button most have a key to use along with it.I would prefer a well made nice fancy key that makes it unique right along with my car. if it was like a reg lexus key or just a square card where you push a button then I would say wtf all that money for the same shit as a kia

not really. CTS manufactured the gas pedals according to toyota's specification. The problem is toyota did not design a proper pedal in the first place. CTS has no role in designing the right pedal, they just manufacture.

Thats the problem, no one has seen a True Japanese Supercar. This car is Japan's big step into that and they are making it so through performance and exclusivity (building 550 of them). Because of Japanese automotive industry being seen as having the best economy cars no one really takes Japanese performance cars or supercars seriously. This is a good step for them IMO.

I could take a ford focus SES coupe bolt a turbo onto the engine and set the turbo to about 3-5 PSI and still get good gas mileage. It's how you drive the car. Shit Top Gear did better mileage in an E92 M3 versus a Prius.

Bolting on a Turbo to a car doesn't make it factory stock. And why would you bolt on a Turbo to an economy car in effort of good gas milage? Even a small turbo kit would cost you a grand or more. The Japanese have dominated the economy car market for years and still do. Chevy just caught up but I doubt they will pass the Japs once they get going.

Bottom line the Japanese are trying to build a Super car. They never made a real Super car, Save for the NSX and GT-R. This would be their first true Super car. That is why it is being sold for a high price and in such limited numbers. Its performance numbers should allow it to make the nurburgring times that are claimed by Lexus. Time will tell how this will all turn out.

cuz m3 has a powerful engine, and is equipped witrh six speed tranny, so on highway it'll burn less gas, but the prius has a weak engine which is gonna burn more gas running on high rpm's, especially when u have 2-3 people in the car...
