  • Does the plane have a built-in stabilizer (e.g. counterweight) or you have to manually compensate with the flaps for the natural roll?

  • This plane is very stable once you trim it out. There is no tendency to roll except when hovering nose up. No counterweights required. Also, just FYI. The plan for this plane is now available for sale on the rcpowers web site.

  • i beleive your calculations were correct

  • where do you get the wheels for the skyrider?

  • you can get 4" wheels at maxx products (dot) com

  • really cool - just wished rcpowers still sold thes kits or plans -- gotta get me one of those

  • get in touch with Dave at rcpowers (.)com. I bet he would be willing to hook you up with something.

  • na, no such luck. no kits available and no plans were ever made. going to try and build from pictures and videos online. :)

  • No matter the music, still a great flyer and cool video!

  • How come mine doesn't fly that smooth?

  • It was dead calm the morning we filmed this. Also, I am using a 1400kv motor with a 8x3.8 sf prop so there is not much torque to fight.
